My diary is open and I'm at 1330. I try to aim for 100 calories per snack, 100 calories at breakfast, 200 for lunch, and 300 for dinner. That typically gives me wiggle room on days I have a cocktail or wine, and I adjust based on how hungry I am that day. My favorite food items are typically high protein, like fat free…

I have boys ten years apart, too!

I'm apparently so old school with MFP I don't even know how to add friends anymore ☹️
-
Please add me! I could use support of other moms, too

I am so excited to have found this thread because I actually came to the boards to exalt my newest snack obsession--a rice cake topped with cottage cheese and furikake (a rice seasoning blend with sesame seeds, dried seaweed, etc.) It's delicious.

Curious if you are feeling better and less tired, BJ! I still feel a very low desire to do things I was once a lot more gung-ho about. Cooking would be #1 on that list. Hoping this group can motivate me a little!

Excellent job winning this thread. Both for that gif and the allusion to Big Bang Theory in your user name.

For breakfast I can make this in about 10 minutes with practically no effort. 1/2 cup egg whites (carton type, but if I don't have them I just use three large eggs and toss the yolks or save them for my little kid's french toast) Use a really small non-stick skillet (I think mine is 6-8" in diameter) sprayed with cooking…

This is all terrible advice.

But if they see you, then they were on the dating site, too. :p

I used to nap when my little guy napped (two hours in the afternoons). He only just gave them up at 5, so now I am mostly nap-free. It is as awful as it sounds, but we're sleeping in longer in the mornings!

Maybe this is me having only watched 9 and 10, but when 9 regenerated he made a comment about having more than one head, etc. If he can change species why wouldn't he be able to change sex or race? I also read that they'd considered Catherine Zeta-Jones to be doctor at one point.

I can see them doing some creative workaround. I need to leave this thread now.

Rupert Grint! He could be rude and ginger. I like this idea.

I can't see Cumerbatch signing on, though. Two-three years is a long commitment for a rising star like him. I think it should be a woman!

I promise that the way you grew up with vegetables is not the way it has to be. I had mostly canned veggies as a kid, but now that I am an adult I realize I love raw veggies, baked veggies, and steamed veggies. You are in charge now, so research recipes and ways of prepping. I promise you will find a lot of variations that…

I hope this link works... http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-harvest-vine-seattle?select=fyBLsgCl04kzDyDvvntsig#P8ibwz9MFyBqShm9u0slaw I have had it once in a fancy restaurant. I'm so picky but I did try it. It isn't awful. In no way would I eat it looking like an actual tongue. Props to you for trying something new!

Cucumber slices or rosemary with lemon slices is good, too. If you start trying to drink water, it becomes easier. I was a kool-aid kid, so I feel your pain.

This. I also wonder if your preparation has to do with disliking veggies. There are so many kinds of styles of cooking them that it is mind-boggling that you can't find some way to like them. How long has it been since you've eaten them? I used to hate onions and I love them as an adult.

You look awesome! What a pretty face it is. :)

Cooking Light's Meatloaf muffins. Two muffins per serving, having half a baked sweet potato and steamed zucchini on the side. http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/diner-meat-loaf-muffins-10000001160601/ Makes 12, so great for picnic food, lunches, left over nights.

I don't think it is necessarily the calories, though. It seems to be made up of fat and empty carbs. There is probably a lot you can do to make it healthier...

What do your fathers look like? How about grandparents? Genetics are weird, and some things don't always hit every generation. Good luck on your journey!

Glad to see I'm not the only chump stuck at work tonight. It does help working in a bar, though... Easy (brainless) job, fun co workers, fast pace.
-
Seriously. Sometimes I feel like the only person in my generation without one.

Spike is NOT cooler than Angel! How dare you, miss. Alucard from Hellsing Interview with a Vampire, full cast Vampire Princess Miyu True Blood, but mostly Eric I know I am forgetting someone. And yes, I'm a nerd and am fully aware of this.

I don't think there is a lot you can do with lettuce. It is gross when cooked (I tried arugula in eggs once, please learn from my mistakes). Wrap is a great idea, I do this when I'm carb heavy for the day. Stick it into everything you eat that isn't cooked-- if you're having veggie sticks, wrap each piece with lettuce…

This! I also like crisp rice and Fiber One Honey Squares. One of the best ways to eat cereal-- 1/4 cup or so sprinkled into a fat free Yoplait yogurt. A lazy man's parfait.
