I read your post and have struggled with finding something to do as well. My suggestion is to try a High Intensity Interval Training class at your local gym. I've found that I'm getting lazier in my older years and being able to set aside one hour for a good workout that someone else is leading is the key to me getting it…

I work in a busy firehouse, so we often don't have much time to cook big dinners. We use two books a lot, "The Runner's World Cookbook" and "Clean Eats." I would recommend both of them...they have tons of great recipes for all levels of cooking.

I use turmeric in a lot of different foods...it's also supposed to be good for reducing the risk of cancer.
