  • Broth sounds better. And im aiming for 50-60 carbs a day. Yesterday was 56gr fat. And yesterdays sodium was at 2000. Im not good at low sodium. Lol and I know low carb is not required. But after 2yrs I lost 85 pounds. Im down to my last 20 and they have not gone anywhere for 5 months. So im trying something new.

  • i make soups and chili then portion them out and freeze them. i make a big crockpot full and usually get about 12 servings. i make each 1 once a month so i can have soup or chili once a day just about.
  • cut 2 sweet potatoes into bite sized pieces, at 1 TBSP oil little salt and pepper and bake them in the oven at 425 for about 15-20 minutes. sprinkle with cinnamon when they come out. just had this last night. lol
  • i steam or saute my own asparagus but to get my kids and husband to eat it i melt equal parts butter and brown sugar (1 1/4 pound asparagus will use about a 1/2 cup of each butter and brown sugar) and let it cook without a lid for about 15 minutes or so. the whole thing is gone in 5 minutes cause they love it so much.

  • i have a recipe i use to get my kids to eat it. dice up about 2 slices of bacon or ham and cook it in a pan. cut 1 pound brussel sprouts in 1/4s and toss them into the pan and get a nice seer on them. then add 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1/4 cup craisins. cook till the sprouts r soft. its sweet and salty. we love it
  • oceanspray brand makes craisins that r 10g fiber in every 1/4cup. and they r 50% less sugar. make what ever muffins u want and eat some craisins on the side!!!!:happy:
  • im 5'1'' and 175 pounds. i eat about 1200 calories a day and only eat half of my exercise calories back, but i dont work out much as i have 3 toddlers and am too worn out by the end of the day. but i do lose and average of 1-1.5 pounds a week. when i do work out i try to go every-other day and i do a 40 minute brisk walk.
  • my 3 toddlers love to dance so i get my wii dance ready and we dance for an hour at a time twice a day. they love it and beg for it.
