It doesn't affect my goals in any way, I guess. However, it has explained why my legs seem to carry the most weight. I have absolutely no problem with being a pear, and I hope, as I continue to lose, that the shape remains.

Agreee! But the best thing about MFP is the nutritional support and guidance you get. I always say that I've found the perfect 'diet'. How many successful weight loss programmes out there will give you the freedom to eat whatever you want?

It's not uncommon to see a drastic change in the numbers on the scale when you give your eating plans a makeover. It's most likely your body had gotten rid of a lot of the excess water it was holding. Eventually it will slow down to about 1 to 2lbs of fat loss a week. Congratulations on making the first step, though!

Not a clean eater here! Before I joined MFP, I had the belief, just like so many out there, that if it's not chicken, green, fruit or 'clean' then you can't eat it. EVER. I'm so glad MFP has changed that perception. I'm actually really enjoying my weight loss as I know that I can still eat whatever I want. I just a) can't…

Soooooo true! Last week my sister came back from the US with a New York Cheesecake. I love cheesecake too much, and yes, I had a few slices. But not only did they taste AH-MAZING, I also did not completely undo all the hard work I've put in so far. In fact, I still lost weight last week.

I have this problem too where I find it hard to meet my calorie goal on just over 1300 cals, especially on days where I workout and end up with 400+ more. Whilst its great that people realize their bodies don't need as much food as we like to think, eating too little must have some kind of long term implications. What I do…

It definitely depends on the person. I've lost around 30lbs and whilst I've certainly dropped a band size or two, my boobs are still pretty large in comparison to the rest of my body. All the women in my family are gifted in the chest area, so it probably depends on genetics, too.

That's an awful lot of weight to lose in only 4 months. Such a feat is not even possible on diets such as Atkins or Cambridge. That being said, why the rush into losing such an amount? When I first set out to lose I thought the quicker the better. But once you get into it it becomes an experience. Learning about how your…

I weigh meat cooked. Either way, I don't think it makes a huge amount of difference.

Thank you! :) Would it also help if i increased my protein intake the days I exercised? It will go horribly into the minus numbers if i do, but I really don't want to be losing lean muscle mass....

I last measured my body fat about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I used this device at Boots where you stand upright and hold the handles. The machine then gives you a reading.

Thanks for the advice! I have begun to eat more veggies and fruits since the start of my weight loss. I'm not cutting out any food groups, per say, however I am cutting down the frequency of my indulgences. Friday is my designated treat day and even then, I don't intend on overdoing it. I do love cheese and boiled eggs, so…
