It gets better. My legs actually feel better after about the 7 minute mark of the longer runs. Go figure!

I guess it depends on where you run. If you run on the road, it's for sure rougher than the treadmill. If you can run on a dirt track designed for running then it's a little easier on the joints. Maybe your going to fast or maybe you need an extra day in between runs in the first few weeks. If you can't finish a day, no…

Great job!!! You may need that extra day rest once in a while, listen to your body and don't give up. The further you go into C25K, the better that asthma will get! Keep it up!

Thanks! Good luck with that 5K! The speed will surely come with your improved endurance. Devil Canyon setting does not sound fun though!

Maybe slow down a bit. At first it seems like a glorified shuffle rather than running. Don't give up. If you have to, keep doing week 3 until you feel comfortable moving on. That's better than quitting.

On MFP or another site?

Week 6 Day 3 tonight! I can't run until 8pm tonight though. I never run that late, I hope I have enough energy.
-
Nice job! Funny how around the 7-10 minute mark the legs stop hurting and you get into it. I start Week 6 tomorrow!
-
Yeah, this is my third time starting. I will finish this time! Make it happen!
-
Don't get discouraged, it gets easier trust me!

Well we are right in sync, I have W6 D1 on Friday! Don't worry about D3, after the first 10 min it's good. I definitely want to do a 5K or two this summer, maybe even a mud run or obstacle course.

Same here, I could not run in the cold so I switched to the elliptical over the winter. Started back from the beginning though, just skipped ahead if I felt good enough. Your right, we can only get better!
-
Great to see I'm not alone in my C25K journey! It definitely gets easier as you go. I never thought I'd be able to run 20 min nonstop, but I did it and can't wait to go 30 min and more. If I haven't already, I will send requests to you all.

Salem County! Feel free to add me.

Accepted! Thanks and good luck with day 2.
