  • Not to be that guy, but the bread likely has preservatives in it. That doesn't mean you shouldn't eat it, though
  • So what's the problem then? You asked if these chains are healthy, but then you say you make sure your sandwich healthy. I think you answered your own question ;) ETA: I think everyone will define healthy differently, but if you want to go with the common definition that's pretty universal, then I guess you've got it. Once…
  • I don't think it's bad if it fits your macros. I mean, health is one thing, but for weight loss a calorie is a calorie. That set aside, while I'm not familiar with Jamba Juice, I eat at subway from time to time and I think it's delicious. I am always able to get a sandwich that fits my daily allowance, and usually I flood…
  • I love Wawa BLTs  I eat at least one a week
  • Yum oh my gosh
  • I don't see why you'd have to give up sugar. I think moderation is key. I also think that some of those documents are just meant to scare people. If you like sugar, have it. Have it everyday if you want, as long as you stay in a calorie deficit if trying to lose weight. If you don't want it, don't have it, but remember…
  • Hi! I'm from NJ. Good luck on your journey! Feel free to add me
  • Yep, there you go :) and some people might fight it, but it's typically accepted that all sugars are equal. It doesn't really matter if you get 10 grams of sugar from oreos or from apples, it's still sugar (and that is not bad). Of course you'll get more vitamins and fiber from the apple, that certainly doesn't mean you…
  • Also wanna add the my SO drank the fruit fusion juices a lot while trying to make weight for wrestling last season. He lost weight and stayed within his weight class all season, and he also said that the juice gave him a nice burst of energy, but we attribute this and the weight loss to the fact that he really couldn't…
  • I think it's a matter of preference. I don't see why either juice would hinder weight loss, unless too much is consumed or it sends you over your calories for the day. I think both juices could be a nice addition to your day :)
  • ^I agree. I don't have insomnia, but if I haven't had a good night's sleep I get a little off. I won't necessarily be hungrier, but I won't necessarily make good choices. It's not like any food is off limits, but I tend to ignore my macros and not eat as balanced because I kinda go toward cookies, candy, cereal, etc more…
  • ^This is an awesome statement. I need to have it put on a plaque or a tee shirt. :)

  • Have a good time and try to ignore false claims like "you need to eat clean in order to lose weight". Lose some weight if that's your goal, but enjoy life in the meantime and don't deprive yourself. :)

  • First off, congrats on your loss! And jealous that you're going to Disney ! I guess for everyone it's different, but I know for me, protein with each meal makes me feel more satisfied. I eat greek yogurt for protein, and you could even mix it with protein powder for lots of protein. Buying protein powder wouldn't be the…

  • Definitely soup, but I would also eat something with it. The soup fills me quickly, but it's the kind of full you get after drinking a lot of water quickly. It passes in a little bit of time. So eating something small with it might help the feeling stay a little longer. Greek yogurt and peanut butter also keeps me…
  • They forgot to mention topping ice cream with bacon
  • I use Safyral. The reason that I went on BC in the first place was to bring my menstrual cycle back, as I lost it due to an ED. I started it when I was almost weight restored, so all that this pill did was help the cycle come back. It did not cause me to gain weight. I have been maintaining the same weight (+/- a pound)…
  • Happy birthday! Pretty much everyone said what I had to say. Sometimes I'll have yogurt and pb, soup, some oatmeal.
  • Nice job! :)
  • If we're going basic, I've never met a swiss that I didn't like. I am also a fan of Sharp cheeses, specifically sharp provolone.
  • I agree, and I guess maybe it's because they strap promising claims and names to it :/
  • Yesssss this^ Clearly the best way to tolerate peeps
  • You said that you are logging, which is good, but are you logging accurately? It sounds like you put in good workouts, assuming that you are burning that actual amount of calories. Some calorie estimates on MFP are kinda high. Also, are you sure the weight is not just water weight?
  • Double post oops

  • I don't know, I think a trial/error approach would work for you, op. There were so many foods that I had trouble eating in moderation, but now I can. I think if you tell yourself you can have them, they'd be less tempting. Maybe save enough calories in the day for 1-2 servings of jelly beans and sit down to enjoy them…

  • Also, it was kinda nice that you tried. And I'm sure you will get through to some people (it seems the person who pm'ed you was motivated) but your post was bound to get this reaction because some people just don't respond to that kind of speech
  • OP, I think that one of the reasons you are getting so much strife from other users is due to your bluntness in your first post. Yes, you've lost some weight. That's great! But the problem is there's so many different reasons why people don't lose weight. Some are controllable, yes. Some are not, as others have mentioned.…
  • Sounds like a nice variety to me -shrug- I mean just eat what you'd like while making a good attempt to stay within calories and macros for the day and you'll be good to go :)
  • Calories In Calories Out So what energy you take in through food and the energy you expend through exercise, living, etc.
  • I'm sorry to be off topic but I just gagged a little :s I can't stand eggs, and I can't stand the thought of eating just eggs and fat. Eggs are the one food I won't touch... ...Unless they're baked in a cake
