  • I know what it is to be tiny :/ I'm 4'9. But like others have mention, we require less. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy myself. I make choices based on my needs and desires and it's been working well for me. Also, exercise is key. Exercise usually puts me under maintenance during the week and at maintenance, but usually…
  • I'd say weigh your food, but also that prepackaged food is my savior. Saves some time, but also I've found that weighing doesn't really take up much time anyway Good luck! :)
  • Yes, this is tasty
  • Awesome!
  • @cityruss -You should throw that PB+J on the grill. I made PB+J on rye and grilled it and it was great!
  • Mmmmm! Sometimes I put equal parts of peanut butter and coconut butter on bread (usually rye). I also love PB+ Any berry flavored Chobani. Also bacon crumpled into caramel swirl ice cream. With cinnamon.
  • Haha, I'd pass too!
  • Spring cleaning, right? ;)
  • Well your doctor is right about your liver and kidneys. They do the job in a safer, more sustainable way. Cleanses "aid" in that but aren't necessary. The only reason you should cleanse is probably in preparation for a colonoscopy. Master cleanse and other detoxes/cleanses can be dangerous, and any weight lost is likely…
  • OP, I wanted to ask you what you would do after the Master Cleanse?
  • Yeah really :/ could've been helpful
  • Yeah, it got deleted soon after it started
  • OP- Why torture yourself? You could get to your goals in a safer way through a good deficit, and a yummy food plan
  • I know for me, its best to just chalk that day as a loss and start over the next day. That doesn't give me carte blache to completely go nuts and ignore my hunger/fullness signals. If I have a big binge in the afternoon, chances are I'm not eating dinner. That's not because I'm punishing or restricting myself, it's simply…
  • IMO, it looks a little nauseating. I mean, yeah, I don't like many of the foods in the plan, but with the exception of some meals, it all looks terribly bland. The lack of colors and spice would probably lead me to feel dissatisfied.
  • Yes, it's possible in some of the cases others have mentioned, but you shouldn't overexert yourself to try to make it happen. If it does, it will likely be water weight. Depending on height, weight, etc, your calorie deficit necessary to lose 5 lbs (not including water weight) could be outrageous.
  • Well, I wouldn't say I'm the only ONLY person around here who has put it straight and simple for ya ;) But if it helped, you're welcome
  • You may be satisfied now, and that's well and fine, but eventually you may start to lose energy. An intake that low will not be sustainable. you should make more of an effort to reach your goal. Some days you'll be a little under, some days a little over, but it's okay. That's life. Veggies, chicken, and fruits are fine if…
  • Right, but these comments and replies are just the truth. Maybe they don't seem very friendly, but why sugar coat it? If you do not eat adequate calories and choose to ignore your health in that way, you will suffer from health complications. That's just the basic truth. It's one thing to under/overestimate calories…
  • Perhaps I'll look foolish saying this, but I wish you'd take into account the advice (aka "smart *** comments) that people have given you. That's coming from one 19 year old to another...except I'm the 19 year old that has osteoporosis as the result of a dangerously low calorie diet and disordered eating....
  • Flavored greek yogurt with a tablespoon of peanut butter mixed in
  • While I was in recovery I ate too much Peanut butter too ;) I've also eaten a whole jar in one day before. Not one of my finer moments, but I've kinda grown out of it. I have maybe 1 tablespoon per week stirred into my raspberry yogurt for breakfast. It doesn't tempt me like it used to... ...Cookie butter? Now that's a…
  • My Ben and Jerry's containers have grams as the measurement... Anyway, just as some perspective, I accidentally on purpose at a whole container of Ben and Jerry's salted caramel core flavor on Monday night. It was 1080 calories or something along those lines. And that was on top of my regular meals. That didn't hurt my…
  • Just be sure to get enough calories. Also, I would try to find ways to incorporate plenty of protein and enough fat. Extremely low fat diets can lead to hormonal problems (so I've heard) and from personal experience, I know enough dietary fat helps to keep the skin, hair, and nails healthy. Good luck, stay healthy! :)
  • I loved my trip to Disney last year! You can pack your own snacks, and I got some really good salads in the parks. My favorite was from FlameTree Grill in Animal kingdom. It had chicken, beans, romaine, tortilla strips, and a really unique ranch bbq sauce. You could opt to leave out the chicken. Otherwise, enjoy the food,…
  • I'm 4'9 and maintaining around 95-96.5 lbs. I'd like to lose maybe 5 pounds but yeah, it's a little hard with so little to lose. Eh, maybe I'll get there eventually, but for now this is good :)
  • Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Metamucil has worked wonders for me
  • Both! Caramel or Peanut butter?
