Vegan here and I agree on Appetite for Reduction. Love shirataki noodles but we've never fried them. We just nuke them and use them as pasta. Compassion over Killing has a nice starter pamphlet. http://www.tryveg.com/cfi/toc/ Don't worry too much about protein. Most Americans get way too much. Just don't eat fruits and veg exclusively. Add occasional nuts and beans, etc. It isn't that hard. Just eat a balance. Not too much of any one thing, like any sensible…

Works for me too. Too much diet soda and distractions so I don't focus on food.

More protein than we need. Too much meat in general and they use that to set the "protein needed" levels. Full disclosure. Been a vegan for 12 years. Never augmented anything, just switched never had problems. Always checked out fine.

Thanks all for the leads. Goodbye spare time.

Don't know where you are or where MFP gets it's levels. Americans get way too much protein as the levels were set by the people that run the beef industry. Don't sweat it. Consult a doctor if you have problems.

Anything with "detox" is suspect. Weight loss is my first guess then everyone else's excellent observation on health and circulation etc. that I claim no knowledge of. "Warmer" is probably just personality.

Do, and tell the landlord, get the puppy into training quickly. The landlord is probably worried about damage, i.e. house training and chewing, which all puppies do, just teach it what is acceptable to chew and what isn't.

Seriously though, there isn't any. You have to make your own. Good luck.

Studies show people who weigh in daily, consistently, do better in weight loss but realize you will fluctuate several pounds so track the average to see the losses.

My plateau record is six weeks.

Numbers here are general and averages. Go by your own input.

There is this feeling that goes with moving out when you repair and repaint for resale where you kick yourself and say "Why did I wait when I could have been enjoying this?"

We do a lot of rescue and the general advise is: Clean the litter box every day. (You wouldn't flush your toilet every other day, would you?) And have one more litter box than the number of cats. (Unless they get along for sure.) If they are fighting, one may mark or keep the other one at bay as a dominance issue. Since…

You might be retaining water. Seriously, there was an article in the LA Times a month or so ago tracking down the "8 glasses a day" thing and it found there has never been any research in the area. (and that number just sounded good to someone unknown.) My own doc once said that when the outgoing color gets too…

My plateau record is 6 weeks so hang in there!

You need to drink plenty of water but, and I wish I could remember the source, someone asked where that number came from and could find no research to back it up. Apparently it is a guesstimate that took off. (Just checked it was an LA Times article. Snopes.com calls it false.) Now eight glasses of Guinness...

Oh, and Tupperware. Always travel with Tupperware.

I find rooms with kitchenettes and cook for myself. Failing that, I get a pack of sandwich rounds, a pack of Tofurkey and a small head of lettuce and make sandwiches for the day.
