You made me laugh cause last week I was saying that of all the workouts, I totally hate the total body. To my surprise, I started week 5 and total body on Monday, and I actually found total body so much easier than previous weeks, that I can say that I like the workout. Whao!

You made me smile cause I really don't like squats/lunge pulses either. However, I've noticed that I can do them alot easier...I'm truly amazed at myself. Not saying that I love squats any more...but I actually bend lower now. On week 4, I've seen definite improvement in the way I move; I use the modifier less now. I'm…

In 2012 when I was on weight loss program, I lost 18lbs in the very first month, then it lessened to avg. 9lbs per month. That always happens...you lose alot in the initial phase, then it lessens. No worries...

I feel a great sense of accomplishment in achieving week 3 also. I must say that I hate squats from ever since I could remember, but I am able to do them alot easier. Now that shows some serious progress. I'm kinda wanting to like squatting...lol. Okay, preparing for week 4.

Week 2, day 5: Well since it's two workouts, I do one in the morning. It's a challenge doing in the am, but I don't think I can manage two in the evening after work. But I feel okay at work...I'm mostly sedentary in the office but I feel it in my shoulders. I feel really great though! Great work folks...I'm moving on with…

I've done the slim fast diet (two shakes and normal balanced meal, with two snacks) years ago, and it has actually helped me to lose weight back then. However, I have found that I can eat anything I want in controlled portions, while counting calories, sugars, carbs, etc. and still lose weight at the same rate. My husband…

When I was on weight-loss in 2012, I did not do cheat days in order to reach my goal. When I completed my initial goal (lost 55+lbs), started to do one cheat day a week cause I was a bit afraid of putting back on weight. When I came to realize that with proper exercise and sufficient water intake, I could maintain and even…

Interesting point....sodium from exercise you say? Can you ellaborate on that please? Much thanks.

If you suspect it's water weight, increase your water intake. However, if your urine is light to colorless, then you are supposed to be hydrated. I started a new exercise routine last Monday and I've put on weight. I don't think that I've begun to put on muscle yet, but it could be water retention, although since I started…

I've used it for very long time. My husband has continued to use it. I can't say there are any cons...just that the taste needs getting used to. Pros are that it's natural so obviously healthier, and no calories.

If possible on Fridays, do one workout in the am, and the next in the pm. I'm completed on week also of T25. That's what I did last Friday cause I know that I couldn't do two workouts in one evening. I've really enjoyed the first week and the Sunday stretch was great. I'm looking forward to week 2...anxious like ya'll.

This is so well said!

If I don't know the cause of someone's weight loss, I would be hesitant to comment on it because if it's a result of illness, then it would be awkward. If I know that they are working towards weight loss, I would congratulate them on their success and encourage them to keep it up. However, I lost 55+lbs in 2012 and up to…

I could relate to this...I started Focus T25 on Monday 13th and have put on 4.6lbs. However I can see a distinct difference with two things: (1) my body is now retaining water. I go to the toilet less frequently during day and night...before going was extremely often. (2) my hunger pangs are unusual. I would eat breakfast…

That happens to me all the time...I do +/- 5 lbs or so...I have gotten used to it now, and I'm no longer panicky about it.

I returned to WOW at this...impressive.

Hi, I've read alot of previous posts on this subject. I started Focus T25 this Monday and gained 3lbs up to this morning but believe me...I'm not feeling demotivated. Basically what has happened to me since I started T25...and I swear I haven't noticed this happened before cause I've never done anything that intense in…

Hi, do a search on T25 and there was a similar question recently. I started T25 Alpha today so I read I searched the posts and learned that one of our friends log it as circuit training...I have gone with that. All the best with T25.

You must eat at least 1200 cals and have at least 8 glasses of water per day. When you don't give your body enough, it gets panicky and hoards the energy from past meal(s). If you place your stomach on starvation mode, it will automatically go into survival mode and just retain everything. And if you have put exercise into…

Oh great, I want to follow this post. I'm starting T25 from Monday. Looking forward to ya'll updating on your progress...I will also. All the best with it!

I recently started to up my intake of water. As I work in a freezing office area, I would not naturally feel thirsty. It takes conscious effort for me to be aware to drink my minimum 8 glasses of water. So I have made a plan just as if I have made a food diet plan....it's just a water diet. This is my plan that works thus…

I loved the OP's post and thought it was a great motivational starter to the new year....then I read the comments below and was like....huh??? I focused on the message and not the delivery, and quite frankly, I didn't see anything off with the delivery. In fact, it was similar "frank talks" from my doctor/dietician that…

That's so great...I'm so proud of you. Thanks for the methodology...I was getting impatient with trying to lose an extra 10 pounds but I guess I cannot rush it....and I think I'm sorta on the right track then in light of your post. Thanks again!

I want to reach 140lbs by end Oct. 2014 (currently ranging 153-155lbs), and I want to be completely toned by that time...I had lost about 60lbs in 2012, and I'm not as toned as I would have liked to be this year. So guess I would need to work harder on the core areas that need toning in 2014.

Thanks for posting your pics. Last year I lost 50+lbs in about 4.5 months, so I do have loose skin on arms and thighs. This was a doctor directed diet and when I complained months after losing weight, about my loose skin and that I was considering surgery...he told me to give it time and do exercise. I swear that was…

That is sooooooooo great! Keep up the great work.

I'm very proud of you. Great job that you took pics to encourage you.

Believe me...it would be a deliberate thing for me to do a cheeseburger and fries at times. I've learned about changing your eating routine and it works well. Heck...sometimes I see a weight loss right after. But I used to be panicky like yourself...it's these forums that has pulled me through. Great advice guys!

Just adding my two cents....I have been trying to lose an extra 10lbs but "thought" I was in a plateau. I'll have to say that reading some of these threads has really helped me to adjust my thinking. I have really been maintaining my exercise program pretty well, and I realize now that I just had to expect to put on weight…

Ou! I think I may just do that...not log my exercises.
