Thanks for the advice guys! It looks like a polar ft4 / ft7. Will start searching the net for the best deals! I was thinking of wearing it mainly when running so should be ok.

I've been looking at the polar f4 on amazon and there are loads of good reviews on it. Quite a reasonable price also quite liked the idea of a pink one!

I was told when I first started training that running on a treadmill at 0% incline is like running downhill outside. I was told to put treadmill at 2% to make it the equivilant to running on flat outside. I always try to mix my running as I also find running outside harder but always feel like I've worked harder!

I could never stick to 1200, only if I'd done loads (and I mean loads) of exercise could I stay within the limit. I have just reset my goals to loose 1lb per week. My daily goal now is 1440 and I feel much more realistic!
