I'M doing POWER90,(do not confuse with P90X)... I find it pretty easy for a begginner, they give alternate exercises for the harder ones. All you need for equipment is elastic bands (20$ at Walmart) or dumbells and I'd suggest a mat for sit-ups. Theres 2 different work out, you alternate them everyday for 6 days and rest…

I should've add in there that running is one of my job requirement...I just stopped doing it after my ACL replacement and never got back into it..so it's kind of a must for me ^^

personnaly I caount all the supplements that have the info on the package...

Use your HRM if it's a pesonnal one, the one from the log is generic and does not apply your effort. If it's the HRM from your machine I suggest you use this one: http://www.shape.com/fitness/tools_and_calculators/calorie_burn_tool IMO it's better than the one on this site.

I was planning on doing P90X but after just reading the physical test I decided to do POWER90 first, i'm completing my 3rd week and i've already seen a LOT of very nice changes, i've lost about 15lbs already and i've got way more energy ! All you need is resistence bands or dumbelles and i'd suggest a yoga mat for the sit…

After many failed diet, i started applying that way of thinking and I think it works! A lot of times, it's bad life style choices that brought us where we are (fat and out of shape in my case!). Just dieting for a while and go back to our old life style just doesn't work! IMO, to get fit and STAY fit we need to make…

Yeah I did lot of swimming too!! It's really good! For the elleptical, like I said, if it hurts avoid it until you see a doctor..there's also a machine I used to to right after my surgery, they had it at the base where I was at the time but i've never seen it since...it's a machine where you pedal with your hans instead of…

Same kind of idea but replace the wedge of garlic & herb with 1/3 cup spicy hummus!!! WOW!

I've had an ACL replacement 5 years ago so I know ALL abour knee pain... AVOID RUNNING!! (I dont think I need to tell you that lol) The bike and elleptical worked for me, walking to..whatever you do, you should stop when you start feeling pain, at least until you see your doctor...

are you saying that you only eat 600-800 calories a day? If it's the case that is the reason you're not loosing....You dont eat enough and instead of burning fat, your body stores long term.....
-
it's different for eveybody, same machine same intensity, i'm gonna burn way more calorie than you because i'm way heavier...
-
Do you eat your exercise calories?
-
you need to put it in yourself (go in "my exercises"), they use a user data-base....probably the reason why they have sucha vast data base for free!!
-
The HRM on the machise are soooo innacurate they should be illegal! they differ for more than 50% sometimes!! Use a personnal HRM, or if you can't afford one right now (like me) use this calculator, I find it better than the one on MFP, and create your own exercise.…

try this out, works for me  http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-calculator.asp

MFP sets the bar for protein way too low for someone who exercises on a regular basis....dont wory about it ;)

HI! You might be able to borrow some exercise video at your local library, if they have a good selection you can xchange them every now and then. as for equipment, I've built a descent set of weights from the trift store for very cheap, I just bought a dumbell with 35 lbs on it for 5$, it would have cost me over 60$ for…
