  • Wednesday and Saturday or Sunday(one or the other) are my 2 rest day I usualy still do somthing like take a walk or do light cardio but I dont do any wight lifting on those days. On the week-end, my off day is also my "cheat day". I dont really indulge in junk food but i dont log my food that day
  • do like I did, quit your old job and become a trucker/heavy equipment operator,I work outside everyday, those machines have cabs built like aquarium, losts of light no cold or snow!!!! lol ;)

  • I have to update these goals, I have in fact been doing strength training since a few months (started with power90 but got bored lol) and i've been seriously lifting weights again since 3-4 weeks and I already seem to be reaching a plateau.... Thanks for the good info!!

  • I try to only bring the exact portions of what I'm gonna eat when I work nights. I spread them our along the night, trying to eat every 3-4 hours. when the lunch box is empty that's it!

  • You're right! When it says "low fat", you still need to read the nutritionnal info, they often replace fat with artificial flavors that holds a LOT of sodium.... As for the coutry differences, did you know that Canada has the most sodium added to their food?

  • From what I was told when looking for a helmet for my 6yo stuntman (or stuntboy?)...if used for skating/skateboarding, you want something that cover's the back of the head (like a hockey helmet...). I got a cool one of that type that I use for mountain bike that has built in earphones for my i-pod!!

  • ok here are my numbers for this week: I'm 264 lbs today, mi mini goal for next week is 262. I was 263.5 sunday, it always seems that I gain .5-1.5 lbs early in the week but loose more towards the end....weird! Good luck all!

  • I always feel like that!! What I do is that i'm really strict about timings, I force myself to eat every 2-3 hrs, wether i'm hungry or not! And I often have just as much calories in my snacks as I do in my meals (sometimes more). There's nothing wrong with that, it's the amount of calories ingested at the end of the day…

  • If you got hurt, reajust your goals accordingly. If it's done right, you might loose a little weight due to muscle lost but you shouldn't build a lot of fat. Good luck, get well soon! JF
