I'm 5'10" but definitely not 125lbs any more. Although I did love being that weight, I thought I looked better. I'm actually not sure what I weigh - need to buy a scale for my apartment here. I will look into that but I love me some dumplings haha. Thanks!

Thanks but they are from when I was last on MFP! Wish I looked like that now. Yeah I always think I'm being healthy picking veggies at lunch and then you get to the bottom of the bowl and it's swimming in oil - not good!

Thanks everyone! Yes packaged food in supermarkets has kj measurements so I can convert, it's more of a problem when eating at work, in a communal setting, etc. If you've been to China you'll know this is pretty common :-) and it can be quite offensive to not eat a lot. Especially when you are the only foreigner at the…

Very near Suzhou actually! I'm in Zhangjiagang which is about an hour away from Suzhou. I try to cook from scratch too but I'm a terrible cook lol.

Girls don't care if YOU don't like heavy makeup. We wear it for ourselves not for guys!

It makes looking in the mirror a lot more fun haha. But you don't get a flat stomach just from losing weight, you have to work out a lot too, especially if you're a woman.

I just finished Damned by Chuck Palahniuk and I'm about to start Doomed!

If it's just a small bite of something you could just quick add the calories.

If it works, the results are only temporary. It's pointless.

There's nothing stopping you losing more weight when you reach your original target :)

Yes! I'm 5'10" and 122lbs but my stomach especially always looks huge compared to the rest of me. I feel like I could weigh 50lbs and my belly would still stick out. I totally get where you're coming from.

Start weighing your foods - I can almost guarantee you'll be shocked at how off some of your portions are. It's really eye opening. An underactive thyroid really can't account for more than a few pounds of weight gain so if your doctor has already ruled that out, there's not really much point in pursuing it as a diagnosis.

Yup, exactly! We are lucky enough to live in a world where these things are available and I am lucky enough to live in a country with entirely, 100% free health care. Why not take advantage of it? What's the point in suffering through depression if we have means to cope?
-
Because she was asking about medications (most likely antidepressants) and how they affected people's weights. madhu isn't on any.

I quit mirtazapine cold turkey and it was HELL. Prozac is usually fine to quit as it has such a long half life though. Wouldn't really recommend quitting any meds cold turkey though. Also, there's nothing wrong with being dependent on medication. Diabetics are dependent on insulin to cope with their condition, we can be…

I have depression and am on Sertraline (Zoloft). I don't experience any increased hunger on it but I'm pretty sure I did when I was on Prozac (hard to remember since it was 3 years and many meds ago!). Citalopram and mirtazapine were both fine for hunger as well I think.

Raspberry blackcurrant frap. It's 229 calories for a venti (in the UK).

I love the Hellmans Caesar dressing. It's only around 50 cals for a tablespoon.

Less than two months. And I wasn't heavy to start with (150 - 130 lbs).

My mum gave me *kitten* about it before. She thought it was obsessive and I didn't need to do it. But she's backed off a bit recently so I don't have to be so secretive.

Yup, track everything. Especially things like mayo, there's soooo many calories.

Nobody has asked me out

This was from last year so I can't remember exact stats, but I'm 5'10" and this was roughly 150lbs to 130lbs :)
-
I'm 20 :) feel free to add me everyone.

I'm tall (5'10") and skinny (125lbs) and I still feel like a giant compared to most of my friends. Male and female :(
