Why dont you forget about the scales and start measuring yourself with a tape? If the extra weight is muscle which your high protein diet would suggest is it , why is it important what you weigh?

Why are you scared of rice? As a vegetarian if you can eat chick peas and beans and even make curries from yoghurt. Try quorn marinaded in natural yoghurt with garlic , chilli and ginger for minimum of 20 mins. Fry onions (any any other veg you fancy ) mix in quern/yoghurt mixture cook for 15/20 mins and eat.
