Had the same type of moment on July 3rd. I took "before" photos (as you can see in my profile pic) even though I had lost 10 pounds before that (because I slacked off and wanted to "begin" again). After I took the pictures, I looked at them and saw the female version of my dad. I love my dad, but I really don't want to end…

Yep... I mean, I'd always known I was overweight and unhealthy. Always wanted to lose weight too, but it never actually hit me until recently. Hit like a ton of bricks for sure! I hated myself and was ashamed of my looks... I'd had enough after my husband (who was trying to be supportive) gave me a hug as I was in tears…

Oh my gosh, nevermind everyone. It's because I lowered my calorie goals today. Why do they change even past dates calorie goal though? That makes no sense! :grumble:

20 pounds seems to be where I started seeing little bits here and there, like in my legs, but ultimately I still haven't really seen the results I so badly want to see. Just keep going. Take "before" pictures... then take pictures every so often and look at them side by side... you may see more results than you think.…

If you feel the need to get some sort of exercise in, I'd take a simple little walk. Don't push yourself, but if you're feeling up to it, I give you kudos! It's hard to burn calories when you're sick. :smile:

I do Zumba Tuesday's and Thursday's. I burn about 350 calories (give or take a little) during my 45 minute workouts. However, you can up the intensity and burn more if you'd like. I just have to be a little lower impact because of my shin splints. :smile:

Actually, me too. I know peanut butter is good for sticking to your ribs, but I'm the kind of person that would rather throw away the peanut butter toast and eat a pork chop for breakfast! LOL! I'll be watching this forum. Thanks for asking! :happy:

I don't shave that area much as it doesn't ever see daylight (and I've gotten to the point in my marriage where my husband can just deal with it during bedroom moments)... but I do have to lift it up to wash under there and I'd LOVE to not have to go through that.…
