That's right! Out of sight, out of mind. I put mine under the sink in the kids' bathroom... I had to get it out of my bathroom! All I kept doing was stepping on it! LOL!

I think I'm going to try this! Extra calorie burnage and I already LOVE those exercise balls! They are so much fun! Plus, I'm tired of my legs going numb during the day as a result of the chair. My doctor has been on me to strengthen my core so that my back will stop hurting also, so it's a win win!

Doing well with the challenge this week! Been off the scale since Saturday!! I'm staying off until next Saturday morning!! I put it away... now hopefully I can forget about it!

My goal weight still puts me at overweight... it's currently set at 165. I felt good about myself and felt like I looked ok at that weight. When I get there, I'll make an executive decision as to whether I want to simply maintain or if I want to lose a few more pounds. 145 would probably be the lowest I would go, simply…

Egg & cheese sandwichs... that's what we're having!
I used to be fat on MTV was actually nice. Granted they were kids (seniors) so they had a lot more time than some adults, but at least they trained and lost the weigh while still having to deal with life.
I really enjoyed that show too... really think they need an adult version as well though. Maybe even…

Weighed in on Saturday at 208! Down 2 pounds since the 12th. I had gained a pound mid-week, but I ended up losing that plus an additional pound!
-
I must have missed this weeks' weekly challenge... based on everyone's input it must be to stay off the scale, right?
-
I always take the lowest weight of the day.

208 pounds today! Down a pound from last week! Mid week I weighed in and was disgusted that I had gained a pound and was 210, today I had lost that, plus one! Down 22 pounds overall... Little by little, step by step!
-
I think that's an awesome add!!
-
Me too! I'm on level 1, day 4!

I like that idea!!

This is totally awesome!! Thank you Nikki!! :)

30 Day Shred is a workout DVD done by Jillian Michaels that advertises you could lose up to 20 pounds in 30 days. It's less than 30 minutes a day. There are 3 levels. You do level 1 for 10 days, level 2 for 10 days, and level 3 for 10 days. You will need weights and a mat if you are working on a hard surface. The DVD is…

Max carbs per meal should be 20, if I remember correctly. Fruits, especially bananas, and milk are bad for diabetics because of the natural sugar. You can still eat them, but do it in moderation and during the middle of the day only. In the morning our levels are higher and at night, eating fruit will jack up your morning…

Doubts are normal I think, but you can't let that get in the way of your health. I started 30 day shred 3 days ago and I'm working up the courage to go home and do level 1 day 3! You can do this... you just need support and not to give up! In the end of all this torture (yes I said torture), it will be worth it…

My goal weight is 165 pounds... 65 pounds under what I started from. The reason I chose this goal weight is because it's what I weighed when my husband and I got together in 2005.

How exciting! Congrats!! :drinker:
-
Yep.

Amazing!! Hoping for results like yours, although I'm not measuring again until the end! I'm on day 3 now! Where did you lose the inches at? Hips, Waist, Arms...?

If you are hungry, you've got to eat, especially if you've tried water. That means you are actually hungry and not just dehydrated like they say. Vegetables are great on days like that... you can eat a lot of them for very minimal calories. I love cucumber! Maybe buy a veggie tray and snack here and there (between your…

I have the opposite problem... sorry I can't help. :frown:

I bet my husband would love these... going to be trying them this weekend! Thanks for sharing!

Comparing yourself to others will always make you feel horrible. Trust me, I do it all the time although I'm slowly learning not to. We have to remember, everyone is different and are affected differently by things. You said you have a problem with getting derailed easily and eating cookies and ice cream, but what you…

Awesome! Thanks!

Gained a pound... now at 210, but I'm pretty sure I can lose that (and hopefully more) by weigh-in day... which will be sometime this weekend.

Yep... didn't find out I was having twins until 19 weeks (even though they did an ultrasound at 7 weeks), went on bed rest at 20 weeks, and ended up having them at 25 weeks. They are ok now, but spent 3 months in NICU. They were 1 pound 9 ounces and 1 pound 12 ounces. Miracle babies, for sure. And then when they were 7…

So funny! I'm having this too! Except I'm doing beef instead of chicken! :-)
