I think our moms of their generation cooked veggies to death. Ick. I too am loving my veggies now. I cook cabbage in strips and think of it as my pasta. I am on a low carb diet. And today... I am officially 20 pounds lighter!! YAH!!!

I am almost 63 and am finally losing the 30+ pounds I've gained since my forties. I like being my age. I like my silver hair, my sense of humor and my mental flexibility. Ha! Think you're right TK. I've super enjoyed doing nothing today. Thinking of going for a walk. or seriously, not. I'm on the threshold of 20 pounds off and keep weighing 1 short. Know any 1 pound tricks??:angry:

Hi Diane, Nice to meet you. I've just lost 11 pounds and am trying for 30. It's freezing here in VT so I'm temporarily limited to boot camp 3x a week. Look forward to skiing! Good luck on your journey!! B

I have been on Lithium for 12 years also. I am not a runner, but am a rower and have rowed several endurance rows of 2 plus hours. I haven't had problems except if it is extremely hot. Then I avoid rowing long. Once I got very sick doing that; nausea, disoriented; like heat stroke. So eat your salt, drink a ton and avoid…
