  • yeah i'm in Sydney. Eastern Subs.
  • Your diary isn't public, can't see it. But, would it be simple things such as not weighing things properly or choosing incorrect entries for foods?
  • get rid of all your friends. simple. then just go straight to diary and log your food. no need to look at feeds or ads or anything.
  • I tried but didn't make it to the stage. I was going for Figure. I got too hungry and tired and sad. And my coach sucked. I did learn a lot from it though, so even though it wasn't a good experience for me personally, I was able to take some lessons from it. Good luck with your prep! Maybe I will try again at some point. I…
  • greek yoghurt - unflavoured + chocolate protein powder. stir it heaps it becomes like a fluffy mousse dessert. top with berries. yum!
  • I have always been a big peer. I pee A LOT. In the morning in particular I will pee at least once every hour. Before I leave home to go to work I will pee maybe 2 -3 times. I can pee on demand. Me peeing settles down once I eat my first lunch - then it seems to calm down and usually in the afternoon i'll only pee a couple…
  • The gym I go to is super chill - as in - it's a university gym so either students or old people like me are there (the workers). There isn't really any awkwardness as people tend to mind their own business. I think I probably make people feel awkward tho. Like when these young student guys were trying to change the bar…
  • This turned into one of those eating popcorn gif insertions (I won't insert, i'm on desktop computer). All I wanted to say is that my husband thinks that all I need to do is a billion sit ups every single day and I will spot reduce my belly fat, so yeah. Oh - and if you like the recumbent bike OP - keep using it. Any…
  • I concur. If you are hungry, eat. Your body is asking you for nourishment for you and the baby. Whole eggs? That gives you protein and fat? If you can't carbs that is...
  • OK I couldn't watch the video because I"m at work, but I like rack pulls. I like to do snatch grip rack pulls best, once I discovered them. Before I used to do normal ones. Snatch grip just gives me a better full back workout.
  • YOu're taking the right steps! It's great that you got out there and walked the half a mile - baby steps! YOu did half this time, next time you can do a little bit more, and more until you are walking lots of miles. Don't be so hard on yourself. It takes time. The important thing is that you are starting :) Hang in there!
  • maid. I like to cook. I don't mind driving. Cleaning however... pain in the butt.
  • I have an old skool copper IUD because anything with hormones doesn't work well with me. I've never tried the Depo shot but have 2 nieces who both have had that and that implant thingy on the arm and both became gigantic. Not joking. I recently saw them again after about 3 years (live overseas) and the youngest one - half…
  • Hm. different camps will say different things. Some say get supportive shoes, others say build up your feet muscles and go barefoot shoe styles. Personally, I prefer barefoot shoes, but I will actually use hard soled lifting shoes for squatting (against what Cherimoose said up above - some people actually need a raised…
  • I was gonna say botox too. Also collagen supposedly does wonders for the skin. I have recently started to take collagen supplement but can't tell if it's working or not because I also got botox (LOL!) so yeah... when the botox wears off i'll know if the collagen is working!
  • When I was using the recommended 1200 calories I felt that way. I rarely drop below 1500 now.
  • Agreed with the above. I actually eat a whole lot MORE potato when I am counting calories to lose because I can eat a lot of it for low calories and it is satisfying. Especially the Lo Carb potato.
  • OP, why don't you spend some money on a decent coach then and work with a professional on this instead of randomly trying to figure it out? So many people manage to lean bulk with a good coach. And the beauty is, you don't even have to think - you just do what you're told.
  • 43 next month and I lift becuase I want to be massive.
  • Yeah they do. UGH. Poor deluded souls. They are also the type of people who say "food is just fuel" and refuse to see the whole other side of food which is family/gatherings/eating together with people/comfort/delicious taste...
  • I would commit murder if I did IF. So I eat 4-6 smaller meals per day. On weekends I try to wait until 8 or 9am to have a huge breakfast, then have lunch and dinner (particularly if I need to bank calories for eating out or something), but I prefer my usual work week routine of breakfast, first lunch, second lunch, second…
  • The only thing I can do fasted is walk. I prefer to have food in me before I work out properly. But that's just me. Lots of people do fasted workouts and feel fine. That being said, i'm also one of those people who wake up and go directly to the kitchen to eat and don't talk to me until i've eaten kind of thing.
  • Yeah... how come the guy got to take the rower home? It's not like when we take, you know, one of those little boxes of staples from the stationery cupboard for the home stapler...
  • I saw the title and just wanted to complete the sentence with: ... are delicious. That is all. BTW - no need to cut them all out. I eat bread and sugar every single day and lose weight, when I want to lose weight.
  • If you meal boiled chicken breast and asparagus, then yes, it's "clean" but it's also soul crushing and a recipe for failure in the long term. I can, however, provide a bunch of great recipes for wholesome nutritious meals made with good fresh ingredients full of micronutrients and that taste good and will help you lose…
  • if you're that much under in fat then you're a significant number of calories under your target also right? it won't mess things up, but you could just add something like olive oil or cheese or something to one meal and hey presto.
  • @SueSueDio OMG LOOOOOVEEEE!!!! OP - when I was on restrictive "clean" meal plans it created a bad association for me to have a "cheat" meal. At first my coach had me eating a cheat meal every 2 weeks then she cut them out and I started to binge in secret hiding (from myself?) behind the fridge and stuffing my face with…
  • LOL, i'm just enjoying the thread OP, has given me some morning LOLs. Now, I do not own Gym Shark, and I tend to have a bit of the same reaction as you as in "must be a douche". But this is based on the couple of people I follow/used to follow on IG who aren't necessarily douches, but are those super fit chicks with the…
