Potatoes. Mashed, fries, potato salad, hash browns, pretty much any and all forms. I don't know why, but I love them so much I can't stop! It's the one thing now allowed in the house.

At night. If you could have a one night stand with anyone in the world, alive or dead, who would it be?

Good for you!! I've never suffered from bulimia, so I cannot even imagine what you have been through, but I would be happy to be a friend and support you though your weight loss journey!

It's great that you're volunteering! However, I would find somewhere else to volunteer. Some places take advantage of the volunteers and the lack of rules governing voluntary work. I've volunteered at various animal shelters and Salvation Army and we were always given a lunch break. There was one place that tried not to…

I sent you a request, I'd be happy to help support you.

Could be water retention. If you're not used to working out, your body may retain water to help heal your muscles. It happened to me the first week I worked out too.

Friday is popular! I'm another Friday weigher. Sometimes I'll jump on the scale mid week for giggles, but weighing myself every day would make me obsess too much.

From what I understand, it's not really an allergy to foods, and allergy tests aren't usually helpful in diagnosis. It's more like an allergy to histamine a in general. I might be lacking an enzyme that breaks down histamine in foods, causing a build up of histamine.

I was on it a long time ago for a short time, but I don't really think it increased nor decreased my appetite. There was only one, Effexor, that increased my appetite.

Not only do I have to log, I have to pre log my entire week. It may be a symptom of my OCD, but it's working. I like being prepared, knowing everything I'm going to eat ahead of time. It helps me stay on track.

I live in Massachusetts, so I'm a Patriots fan. However, I can not stand Tom Brady. He's arrogant and egotistical in my opinion. That being said, I do have this to say: his diet sounds a little whacky and new agey, but it's all about what works for you. If a raw food diet is sustainable and gets you results, then by all…

Congratulations on taking the first step!! These forums are a wealth of knowledge. Read the stickies, and check out the MFP blog (Hello Healthy). There is a lot of great information there on nutrition and exercise, and lots of great recipes.

I've lost almost 20 pounds, but I still feel like I haven't seen any results. Everyone else sees it. I think it's more mental than anything. You are your harshest critic. Just keep going. One day you will see results and it will all be worth it.

Mashed potatoes, potato salad, hash browns, French fries, pretty much anything with potatoes.

So, it sounds like she's in an emotionally abusive relationship. She can't talk to him about her stress probably because he'll get angry or belittle her. If he gets mad at her for being stressed, or not losing weight, you'd be surprised at other trivial things he'll get mad at. My husband gets angry at me if my son (who's…

If I may, I'd like to ask a question. Who's idea was the weight loss? His or yours? But really think about it. If I was your choice alone, great. If it was your choice, but after your BF hinted at your weight, or made comments or made you feel bad about yourself, then your heart isn't going to be in it. Get out of that…

I always thought I hated zucchini, but as it turns out I just didn't give it a fair chance. Now I love it! Maybe that's what's happening to you? Throw some veggies in a soup or chili, or even shred some in to a turkey burger or turkey meatballs. Or roast some in a the oven with olive oil, salt and pepper. Roasting makes…

Maybe I heard wrong, but it sounds like one "expert" promoted the starvation mode myth.

I freeze them too for smoothies. And I make Popsicles with them. I'm going to open one up and check. Thanks!

I've lost 10 dozen large eggs. I gave them to Sheldon Cooper. I want to lose a 2 month old baby horse though!

This post is amazing. I had a hysterectomy a few years ago, so I don't get the menstruation anymore. I still have my ovaries though, so I still get the rest of it. However I've lost track of my cycle, so I was frustrated when I only lost a pound this week. Then I saw your post, and I checked for the one sign it was my TOM-…

I tried farro last night, and it was pretty good! I didn't have any digestive issues, of course it usually takes a while for that to start. But I may try more grains and cous cous just to switch it up. Thanks all!
