  • It could be. I've been drinking almost a gallon a day, but I only drank a little more than half a gallon yesterday
  • I'm eating 1200 to 1300 calories a day. I have had a check up last week. I mentioned it to my doc, but she didn't seem concerned, she thought it was adjustment. She told me to call her if it gets worse. Like I said, it feels like it's happening less than it was, and I feel like it may have happened before. I had a long…
  • This. If she doesn't change her habits daily, she'll gain it back as quickly as she lost it.
  • My blood pressure is a little on the high side, though it's come down with the weight I've lost. I did this last year before I got sick, and I feel like I may have experienced the same thing. It seems to be happening less and less, so I'm hoping it's just an adjustment
  • I bought a cheapie $15 one at Walmart. It's a flat one, black, and it works great.
  • I have to pre log. I feel like pre logging helps me stay committed. Honestly, you need to find what works for you. It takes trial and error to figure out what you need to stay satisfied. I've tried all the diets, but in the end it was 80% clean eating and 20% allowing myself treats, like my daily Dr. Pepper and cream and…
  • This needs a sticky!
  • I wonder if the protein powder had artificial sweeteners. Some artificial sweeteners upset my stomach terribly. Especially acesulfame potassium.
  • Unsweetened cold brew iced tea. It has just enough flavor to keep it from getting boring, but it isn't bitter like unsweetened hot brewed tea. I think it's great you're trying to cut out soda, but it's not a bad thing if you allow yourself one once in a while. I let myself have one Dr. Pepper a day. It's really helped me…
  • 84. My longest streak ever!
  • I started riding when I was 11 (over 20 years ago). I was slightly over weight. I didn't notice a big difference with just weekly lessons. After about a year, my instructor decided I was good enough to lease one of the horses. When I started riding 4 times a week, the weight slowly started to drop off. When I started…
  • I have been riding for over 20 years. I don't have my own horse, but I am lucky to have a friend that lets me ride whenever I can (which is still not as much as I'd like, but hopefully more energy to ride will come with dropping weight and building muscle). I would love to chat with you, I'll send you a friend request!
  • I second this. I weigh every friday, right after waking up and going to the bathroom. I've been measuring too because I've been building muscle, and sometimes it doesn't show on the scale.
  • Thanks for all the info! Maybe I do need more soluble fiber. Those with IBS, should I try Benefiber or Citrucel? Should I stop with the fiber capsules? Should I go for miralax? I make sure my bananas are very ripe before I eat them. I'm want to try upping my fiber intake before I nix the bananas. Would a probiotic help? My…
  • Smoothies (not with a straw though), or even protein powder in milk, unsweetened applesauce. When I had mine out I lived on ensure, mashed potatoes, cooked corn and cooked carrots. Just be sure you eat something before taking pain killers, especially if you've never taken them before. I took one on an empty stomach and…
  • Haribo sugar free gummi bears
  • 1/2 a banana 1/2 a cup unsweetened almond milk 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon almond butter 1 tablespoon cocoa powder you can also add greek yogurt or replace the cocoa powder with chocolate protein powder
  • Thats not the way it has to be though. Seriously, that used to be me, I was sooo hungry all the time. But ever since I started eating clean, I haven't been ridiculously hungry. Lots of fruit and vegetables and lean protein like chicken and a little bit of good carbs like quinoa. Its helped with my bingeing too.
  • You don't own the forums? Please only say and do logical things. We can't help you if you dont provide details.
  • I've never used one, I don't think these were around 15 years ago, but I have heard from other women that have used them and they swear by them. However, I've also heard a few women say they simply went to the pharmacy and got an ace bandage or a compression brace and that worked too. They also said belly bandit was…
  • I'd love to join! I have a personal goal that aligns with this.
  • Would you be willing to see a nutritionist? There are a lot of great suggestions here, but a nutritionist would continuously work with you to not only help you reach your nutrition needs now, but in the long run too. I think it's great you are taking steps to be healthier, but if you don't learn to eat right when you're…
  • Quitting Dr. Pepper cold turkey was probably the single thing that caused me to fail repeatedly in my previous weight loss attempts. This time I slowly cut back on it and 30 days in, I'm down to one a day, and I dont feel deprived at all. It gives me something to look forward to in the evening and I can enjoy it guilt free…
  • I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. I have OCD so I plan eh-verything. But I had a had time figuring out what to make food wise, until a friend sent me this. Its a clean eating challenge and it has 2 weeks of 3 meals and two snacks, and it kind of inspired me to know what to look for in a recipe. There is also one for…
  • I am so going to make this for our BBQ tomorrow. I need a potato salad substitute!
  • Does that cat have alien paw syndrome? Too funny
  • The Real Slim Shady - Eminem
  • You should stop weighing yourself every day too. It only leads to stress
  • The most I see these kinds of posts the more I'm convinced they're for attention.....

  • I used to do Slimfast a long time ago. Honestly, they're not very good, nutritiously. They have a lot of sugar, and they wont keep you full for very long. You'd be better off making a big batch of smoothies for the week. You can freeze them and then put them in the fridge the night before to defrost. One of my favorites to…
