  • I don't know the right words to say except that I am so sorry for your loss. (((hugs)))
  • I'm in a similar situation. I have chronic illness so I am exempt from fasting completely, but I'm going to try this year. I can't fast right now due to girly reasons, but as soon as I am able, I'm going to try it for a day and see if my illness gets worse. If I am not harmed by fasting, I will keep going. If I become more…
  • Thank you @sharimedina for the info, good to know! I don't know if we will continue TTC, I'm thinking more about adoption, but I still have time to think about it. Not MUCH time, but some. :) I'm thinking about asking my RE for low dose decadron. It can help prevent miscarriage in women with autoimmune disease and it also…
  • Spices, lettuce, tiny slices of pickle. Typically if something is under 10 calories, I don't bother. I DO count my gummy vitamins though, 20 calories for 2!
  • People are going to groan because they hate this question, but yes, I personally count any and all fluid as "water" because I am measuring my level of hydration. EDIT: I don't drink alcohol. That would be my only exception. I would NOT count that as hydration.

  • To be fair, it was dead for 17 hours and you revived it. haha
  • This question made me terribly sad. OF COURSE it is possible. Smile a lot, be confident. If you don't feel confident, fake it till you make it. Make girls laugh, be a nice person. I, for one, prefer heavier men, and I like to think I'm a pretty cool chick. Be patient and work toward whatever goals you set for…
  • I think it varies. For instance, I have a very small waist, but I still carry belly fat below my natural waist line. (Not saying I'm overweight, I could stand to gain about 15 lbs of muscle.) I have nice measurements, but I also have 30% body fat so that can't be good.
  • I would just have a talk with her and tell her you promise to try your best to do as much as you can, and she can agree to do the same, and if the house is a little bit messy sometimes, the world will go on. Enjoy your baby. :flowerforyou:
  • Just peeked in your food diary and I agree, you should probably eat more. Side note, that just made me so hungry. I love fruits and veggies!! Great choices, just try to eat more of the things you like. Take care. :)
  • Awww, that means more to me than you know. Thank you so much! I have the biggest smile on my face. Incoming friend request!
  • 1) age: late 30s 2) approximate weight: 113 3) physical location: Midwest USA. 4) activity level. Desk job, very light activity. 5) How often do you exercise? Walk 4-5 times per week. 6) Do you eat breakfast? Not usually. 6) what is your largest meal of the day? Dinner. 7) how many times a day do you eat? 3 small meals…
  • Thank you, I hope so. It's a bit hard to overcome a genetic anomaly, but I will try. God willing.
  • I'm 5'6" and 113-ish, it fluctuates. If I could gain muscle, I would LOVE to weigh 120-something. That's sort of my "goal," but I don't know if it's achievable due to my genetics. (Abnormally long, thin bones, underdeveloped muscles, connective tissue disease.) My doctors recommend my weight to be 110 due to my health…
  • Salaam! I will be fasting, insha'Allah. We have a few threads going on this: Check here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1038039-ramadan-fasting-mfp-and-you-a-guide And also join our group: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/2543-mfp-muslims :flowerforyou:
  • I have a feeling she is quite familiar with that!
  • 1.) Yes 2.) No. Lucky me, just allergic to grass, dust, dander, cats, dogs, the world, people... etc.
  • You know what, you ARE too pretty. Because both of your pictures are alllll over the internet on Tumblr and Pinterest. You must be, like, REALLLY popular!! No wonder guys won't leave you alone. :flowerforyou:
  • QFT. A nice, honest response.
  •   To the person who said females can be creepy too, I agree 100%. My scariest stalkers have been female. The men usually go away after their temper tantrum. The females will show up on your doorstep.
  • I don't even show my face on MFP (or the internet in general) and I still get creepy mail from creepy men. Ignore/block, move on. It's not because you're pretty, it's because you most likely have female genitalia, and some men are programmed to act like idiots when they sense a female is near. I don't even give them the…
  • It always boggles my mind how someone can provide such abrasive, serious answers to a person who obviously has a good sense of humor and is just joking around. But carry on because it adds to the humor.
  • I'm getting secondhand embarrassment reading this thread. That, and I want to hand out glasses of water.
  • I'm neither overweight nor approaching menopause, and my ankles have been swelling for YEARSSSS. For me I don't think it's related to sodium, it just happens when I've been on my feet for too long. I will get pitting edema, like the kind where your socks leave imprints. But I kinda like when my legs swell because it's the…
  • I think this guy might be able to give you some solid advice. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1276219-i-went-from-morbidly-obese-to-6-pack-abs-ask-me-anything
  • Wow. I am so honored to "meet" you here on MFP. Congratulations on your new life and amazing accomplishment! I wish you continued success and wellness. :flowerforyou:
  • Took the words right out of my mouth, though you wrote it more eloquently than I would have. I was all on board with everything OP wrote until she began policing what women "should" wear. Aside from that, I agree. And the above advice is great.
  • MashaAllah, very happy to hear you're going to try the 30 day challenge. May Allah make it easy for you!
  • My God, my acne came back with a VENGEANCE. I'm on doxycycline now just to clear it up. Not cool. :grumble: but no ovarian cyst pain.... YET. I know it's coming soon.
