Hi John, I've been thinking about giving this a try. I found this thread by searching for rebounding. :) How do you like it?

Ramadan Kareem! Hope you're all doing well insha'Allah.

Thanks! Ramadan Kareem to everyone practicing.

great post! :)

I tried, I really tried... but I could not get past 10 reps. :( I'm not just a beginner, I'm more like a sloth. I have very little muscle in my legs and now they feel like jello! Exercise always makes me feel like I have the flu. So I'll have to modify it a little bit for what I am physically capable of doing. One day I…

I'm going to try my best!

I would also keep in mind that where we measure for clothing sizing is not necessarily where we measure for health reasons. My natural waist is teeny tiny, if I used that number, I'd never have a reason to get fit. If I measure at the navel, I know I have a lot of work to do. :/

I don't always drink pop, but when I do, it's regular. :) Usually a rootbeer or Dr. Pepper. I dislike the sickening sweet aftertaste of aspartame.

Thanks, I will keep tweaking it until I find what works. I am only trying to lose about 5 lbs, so I'm not in a hurry. Once I start lifting weights, this will all change. My aim is to just boost my self-esteem by losing some fat and fitting into my normal clothes, then I'll be more inclined to get to the gym and do some…

Interesting. I feel like I am eating as much protein as I can stomach, but still not coming close to what it recommends at 40%. So I just changed it to 35/35/30, which tells me to eat 130g of carbs and 130g of protein. (I'm a small woman too, that's more than I weigh per pound.) I've had enough fish, turkey, eggs, and…

Yeah I think I'll be okay going over on the fat too if I can just lower the carbs. I'm experimenting today to see if I can take in more protein without having to drink shakes or something.

Well I read that women with PCOS/IR should aim for 30-40-30 (carbs-protein-fat%) but I'm having trouble getting that much protein, so I'm wondering if there's any advantage. We'll see!

I've been skipping breakfast since I was a child. I prefer to have snacks in the evening. Of course I'm not in shape either, so take that as you may. :)

I find that if a person plays games, they're a "player" by nature and will likely never change. I never play games, hence I have zero drama and no hurt feelings.

Definitely water retention. My weight can fluctuate wildly with water, anywhere from 2-7 lbs from day to day. I never really know my true weight, I just have to take an average.

I'm in Ohio until May. :)

Building muscle helps burns fat. It kinda works out.

She didn't ask to spot reduce, she asked to tighten it up, in other words, she wants to build muscle in her abdomen. I have read that women who've had C-sections have difficulty because their abdominal muscles have been severed, but it IS possible. I'm not a good person to ask because I don't exercise, but I should. :) I…

Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father (2008). Kind of a murder mystery. I really enjoyed it although it's sad.

I can't fast completely due to chronic illness and medications, but I try to fast for part of the day. I've lost about 2 lbs so far. I'd like to gain. Soon, isA.

I love curly black hair, a nice beard, chest hair, prominent eyebrows, lush eyelashes, funny & intelligent. (Just described my hubby-to-be, but those were my preferences before I met him too!)

People are literally dancing in the streets here in Akron tonight.

This happens to me when I exercise too much and don't eat enough carbs. I do believe it's ketosis breath.
-
I don't know the right words to say except that I am so sorry for your loss. (((hugs)))

I'm in a similar situation. I have chronic illness so I am exempt from fasting completely, but I'm going to try this year. I can't fast right now due to girly reasons, but as soon as I am able, I'm going to try it for a day and see if my illness gets worse. If I am not harmed by fasting, I will keep going. If I become more…

Thank you @sharimedina for the info, good to know! I don't know if we will continue TTC, I'm thinking more about adoption, but I still have time to think about it. Not MUCH time, but some. :) I'm thinking about asking my RE for low dose decadron. It can help prevent miscarriage in women with autoimmune disease and it also…

Spices, lettuce, tiny slices of pickle. Typically if something is under 10 calories, I don't bother. I DO count my gummy vitamins though, 20 calories for 2!

People are going to groan because they hate this question, but yes, I personally count any and all fluid as "water" because I am measuring my level of hydration. EDIT: I don't drink alcohol. That would be my only exception. I would NOT count that as hydration.

To be fair, it was dead for 17 hours and you revived it. haha

This question made me terribly sad. OF COURSE it is possible. Smile a lot, be confident. If you don't feel confident, fake it till you make it. Make girls laugh, be a nice person. I, for one, prefer heavier men, and I like to think I'm a pretty cool chick. Be patient and work toward whatever goals you set for…
