  • Ok so if I don't eat but wake up at 3am with a hunger pang should I eat something small then to get back to sleep?
  • OP did you ever try tracking ur PB intake? Maybe make a special folder for it in food diary so you can see how much of ur daily number are coming from it? Then u can bring it down. Might be motivating!
  • I don't think it's the mirror as much as the lighting in my house haha. Whereas the camera has a flash and shows more. I dunno. I do see a slight change in my spare tire area and thighs but indefinitely think I look better in mirror as opposed to in pictures!
  • Which size do you use? I have two different weights. I can do more weight for the curls but less for the other moves!
  • You should be so proud. Great job. Also you have a great friend to make that for you. It shows the support you have!
  • I need to be full to sleep too. If I'm the slightest bit hungry I'm up all night
  • My legs hurt just hearing this story Lol
  • You can definitely do it. Sounds like you have the right mindset. That's the first step!
  • MFP gives me this feeling you are talking about (having whatever I want) because I was on WW for so long and felt deprived. Then I came here and felt like I was getting so much in quantity an options. I used to need Andy capp hot fries and they were so many points so I'd avoid them then binge. Right now I know I can have…
  • This is exactly what I meant when I wrote what I did. But because I'm not good with words I basically got attacked for posting it. Lol I have such a hard time expressing my thoughts written or verbally. That's probably why I am a cake decorator lol
  • They do fit a bit better. It seems as if everything got firmer instead of less mass lol
  • I brush my teeth or chew mint gum when I am trying to avoid eating certain things
  • Yeah I lost 15. I plan on 17 more. I'm just thinking "oh man if I can see this 15 will I see the next 15" lol. Great advice though
  • I'm done with this discussion. The amount of close minded people on this site who are always looking for an argument (instead of focusing on helping posters) is unreal. It's a shame people can't just be supportive of the poster without trying to start arguments with people who don't believe what they do. I'm all about good…
  • Forgot to mention I began to lose more when I switched to active. I heard not many people at all are sedentary. Unless ur job is sitting for 8 hours m-f then come home and sit more lol
  • I'm a TSS worker for autistic children and I'm set at light activity. And most of the time I'm sitting with them with just a walk down the hall each hour. Lightly active works for me even and it sounds like you are on it feet more than me. On my weekends I only really do laundry (sitting while it's in) and unload…
  • That's your opinion. If u don't buy into it great. Doesn't mean it's wrong.
  • Yeah they are sports bra and bikini underwear pics. Same in both pictures. The first pic was from November. The new one is from today then I plan on taking another one after I complete the 30 day shred. Hopefully by then I see a change
  • I might have to check that out. :)
  • Ok I get the compulsion meaning because I have BAD OCD. But how would addiction differ? More of a chemical response as opposed to something we feel we need to do or have being more mental?
  • I totally get eating something till it's gone. My dad will buy me a chocolate bunny every Easter. I always plan on eating just a bit but overdo it. Then I tell myself "if I eat it all it won't be a concern anymore" and since it's from my dad I'm too sentimental about him buying it for me to throw it away.
  • It helped me a lot. And I had major issues. Lol. I'd have to buy some sort of junk food each day. Then I'd eat it and feel the guilt. But here's the weird part....I wouldn't even want to eat the food. I'd only eat it because I bought it. The addiction was buying it. Then I moved on to buying it but giving it away. Now I…
  • There is a reason you binged. Maybe you body was missing certain nutrients based off of the days diet, maybe you were stressed, maybe your hormones were off. Not saying your testosterone was low. Do you know why you binge when you do? I'm not asking in a prove a point way I seriously want to know. The reason I'm on here is…
  • Jillian michaels winning by losing is a great book. It made me realize a lot about the reasons I eat and to really look at the reasons and replace it with other activities.
  • Understanding the problem is a good start to getting past something. In a prior post I suggested pb2. Offering a solution to her not wanted to kill her calories and fat due to peanut butter. Not just telling her to give it up. Willpower would be a good suggestion but how. How did you all gain willpower?
  • Here's my point....I am telling the posted what the study said. Whether or not others buy into it is their own OPIINiON. I'm all about people having opinions. But how do they KNOW it's wrong? I know a few of you on here don't buy into it but don't tell this poor poster that's she just needs willpower . I'm sure she's tried…
  • So is a pregnant women who cries frequently using the pregnancy as a crutch? No. It's hormones. Ours are different than yours. And it's not all women. And men might experience it too.
  • One thing I hate about MFP is you put something up to inform the original posted and everyone has to tell you you are wrong. You might not believe it but guess what that guy who stated it has a doctorate and you don't so whether you believe it or not is your opinion but you are certainly are no position to say it's…
  • You say 6-8 tbspoons a day. Is that on the apples as dinner or that in addition to other times that day?
