Look for whatever meats are on sale at the grocery store and buy up. Rice is also very cheap and filling. Lentils are my favorite and cheap where I'm at. Depends on demographics and such. I eat all meats and I'm full.

I'm stopping my caloric intake now and will fast for 36 hours. Curious, Dan, have you tried mixing a 40 hour fast or so in to experiment?

Bump! This has been a worry for me. How do you exactly tell somebody that you used to be xxx amount of weight? All good suggestions though and something to keep in mind when I get to that point with a guy.

Muscles retain water so yes, the scale could be stagnant due to that.

I buy the Costco Angus beef patties then dress it up with cheese, bacon, and mayo. But you'd probably get a better deal making your own patties. I also make different casserole dishes then divide them into meal portions.

No pictures, that I feel comfortably in posting yet, but yes there's been a lot of success with recomping. I've actually gained 5 lbs, but I lost 7 inches total in a few days. Check maintenance board, there should be more posts over there about this.

I would do a lot of "floor work" which in my terms means isometric excercises and resistance training (no weight lifting). Donkey kicks, leg holds that rely on your glutes, and squats should make your booty grow. However, I would modify and put pillows or something soft in order to protect your baby. What type of squats…

I completely forgot to do this *face palms*, but I've been making myself remember the experience every time I see bread. I've developed a abhorrence to breads/cakes and such now. I'm very cautious about going over my carbs now. Yes, the brain is a very sneaky protector. :grin:

I don't have much knowledge in T2, but I can agree that doesn't sound right unless your metabolic system is completely screwed. But the orthorexia comment was completely uncalled for. How is meat bad for you? :unamused: I would see about switching docs too.

@KnitOrMiss I think it's important to take weekly pictures even if you don't feel like you've lost inches/weight (when your in weightloss/toning mode). Today my nsv is a loss of 1.5 inches total from my waist and thighs. Scale number remained the same, but I'm ecstatic about that 1.5'' total loss! :mrgreen: I used to have a tiny waist, can't wait to get it back.

HWC, butter and bacon fat is how I get my fats in. I don't use coconut oil yet.

I stick to vodka for quick down the rabbit hole experiences. However, how many calories depends on brand. Edit: I'd like to note that I don't support getting drunk and always believe that everybody should remain in full functionality at all times, but we are adult, hopefully, humans and we can make our own decisions.
