count me in! i started it 3 weeks ago but i've got so much going on right now that i haven't done it in a week...my sister's baby shower is at my house on saturday and my house is still under construction! :) so i plan on restarting on Sunday/Monday...

thank you so much for posting this - it got my interest up and checked it out..just ordered it for my mother who suffers from arthritis - it came up on a lot of websites as being great for arthritis sufferers!!!! she has been wanting to do something and everything we see is too high impact for her joints - this is great!

finally finished week 1 - only took me 9 days :) But I now have all the DVD's and can't wait to do Chest & Back again tonight! For those of you that do the resistance bands for pull ups, what weight do you use? I did 15lbs last week and it didn't leave me sore...but I am pretty sure I don't have back muscles - would I be…

Hi all - I got the Chest & Back DVD i was missing so I can do them in the proper order next week...for this week I've done all but Yoga and Chest & Back so far...I am really liking this program - although I'm not getting really sore so I think I will up all my weights for next week...maybe i'm stronger than I think? even…

i just finished insanity and started p90x...the wourkouts feel so tame in comparison! however, i do think they are doing something - just at a slower pace...it's a totally different kind of workout...in fact, i LOVE p90x where i was dreading insanity at the end...
-
did PlyoX last night - and I have to say that it felt easy compared to Insanity! I was so excited and really enjoyed the workout!
-
Quick question: Did Arms & Shoulders last night using 5lb (for shoulders and triceps) and 10lb (biceps) weights. I was definitely feeling it last night, but I'm not sore at all this morning - does that mean I should up my weights??
-
opened up my P90X tonight and now i know that i bought a bootleg copy off craigslist (for the record i was told it was an unopened original - and it was sealed)...i was missing chest & back completely! it had 2 copies of disc #10 instead!!! ack! so i started with shoulders and arms instead and will have to figure out how…
-
starting tonight...i'm very nervous about chest and back since i can't do a pullup and can only do 7 pullups properly before dropping to my knees...we'll see how it goes!
-
bring your receipt in and ask for a credit...if it's on clearance and in stock in your store, they'll do it...
-
JennyLynn30 - you are my hero if you are working out and have a 4 month old! all i remember about that time (i have 2 boys) is the intense feeling of sleep deprivation! has anyone ever done insanity before? if so, how would you compare Plyo in P90X to the Insanity workouts?
-
mind if i join you all? i'm finishing up insanity right now and plan on starting P90X on Sunday (i finish insanity on saturday)! would love to have a group to check in with!

i start my last week of month 2 today...it was definitely hard in the beginning but i'm feeling much stronger in it now (just like month 1 was super hard in the beginning but easier towards the end)... good luck!
-
shape magazine mentioned that it might be the salt on your sweat doing it - in which case more moisturizer might help...but it also said that less oxygen is going to your skin and more to your muscles and the itching is a result of that...i'm sure they said more but that's what i remember...
-
i really, really want to do it! i have another week to go in insanity and then doing p90x...then that's next up on my list!
-
i did bootcamp early in the morning (6am) for a month and loved getting up that early to work out - i was done for the day! however, i did all of the above, got the kids clothes out, packed up, ready to go the night before...i also found myself falling asleep by 8pm at night... now i'm almost done with insanity and i've…

i had my c-section 2 years ago and while my scar is almost invisible and very low, i have the pouch...i've also lost 55 lbs since then (and he was a HUMUNGOUS 11 1/2 lb baby) so i wonder if that has something to do with it too...
-
if you hate weights i'd go with insanity - it's all cardio and you use only your body weight as resistance... both programs are 6 days a week...insanity is a bit shorter (40 min the first month and 60min the second) than P90X which is 60min - 90min (only yoga i think)... i can't speak to P90X but i'll be starting it at the…

i just started month 2 and am in the best shape of my life! i have a waist again after having a c-section, 2 pregnancies (and one of my kids was 11 1/2lbs! at birth) and many years of looking like a square...it hurts - but it's a good hurt because i am seeing amazing results!
-
i'm doing insanity and while i still have fat around the middle - my legs are awesome! they've never looked this good and i'm only a month in! still got a ways to go to work my whole body but it's done wonders for my legs in a short amount of time!
-
i'm in my first week of month 2 - loving it! it's super hard (esp month 2) but the results are amazing - i'm wearing pants today that feel like they could fall right off me!
-
i have heard - from a doctor - to give it 2 years...if it still sags, it always will and will need to be surgically removed...
-
thanks! bump

i have an almost 5 year old and almost 2 year old....they go to bed early and i work out right after that...or worst case scenario - i pop a movie on the computer and set them up to watch it while i work out at home...they go back and forth between watching the movie and exercising with me....
-
I just finished month 1 and never had those "sore" days...I was stiff afterwards but I did it at night and by the time i woke up the next day I was fine... I like to think of it as 2 workouts - the warm up and the real workout (with the stretch in the middle)...that helps me get through it better because it seems…

thank you - it does help!
