  • woo hoo!!! LOVE this...
  • I have the exact opposite type of mother. She tells me to keep losing...even when realistically I am pretty healthy looking now with a bodyfat% that I am comfortable with. She was rail thin after all 4 of her kids and I think she wants me to follow in her steps and to never stop trying. I think she means well. When we stop…
  • Oh GOSH! You sound like me. I still have days that I think of myself as the fat girl. I still have days that I look in the mirror and tell myself that I am too fat to wear this or that...even after I get blasted with compliments. When I go to shop for clothes I grab bigger sizes and get in the dressing room and realize…
  • I've lost 60 lbs in 6 months. I have loads of stretch marks and HAD problems with lose skin for about 6 weeks but things are tightening up now. I continued with lots of cardio and strength training and proper hydration. No creams and oils are going to do the work that you want. Strength training is going to be your best…
  • I went from 40dd to 36b sometimes a c. I feel sexier now then ever before. The girls are finally starting to be on my chest instead hanging from it. My hubs is happier with them now then ever before. I think firmness is much more sexy and i think most men would agree. Healthy is always the better option. I kept alot of…
  • We have been hit over and over with sheets of rain ALL DAY!!! I think my driveway is washing out. Will it ever end? Anyone wanna play tag in the rain? LOL I need to find a babysitter first. IF any of you are interested in Civil War history... awesome event going on this weekend. Check it out! http://www.civilwarmn.com/ I…
  • He eats what I feed him. LOL so he doesnt have the right to complain or option to choose the meals. So far in the past 6 months he has managed to accept the new changes and even incorporate them into his own breakfasf and lunch prep.
  • http://canibecomemyownleadinglady.blogspot.com/2011/05/ill-let-these-pictures-do-talking.html I am 5'5" ...these are my before/after but I am down another 10 lbs from the last pictures posted on there. I am currently 150 and am contemplating another 10 lbs. I have a muscular build and my body fat % is 26%
  • Our local Mexican food joint offers fish as an option...and lots of other healthy alternatives. Skip out on things like sour cream, cheese, chips, and tortillas and you should do just fine! Drink lots of water too...get a head start on flushing that sodium out. G'luck!
  • I worked with a nutritionist for several months who actually explained to me that diet sodas will actually make you fat...if I had more time I would find all the articles online but I'm guessing you can Google it yourself. ANYTHING carbonated and caffeinated will work against you if you abuse it...meaning once a day is…
  • Most the time... My husband insists on working out behind me...and although he is a faster runner... he insists on staying behind me. This thread may have answered the question of why he does this. I thought maybe it was his protective nature like...if I fell or hurt myself he would be watching and ready to pick me up but…
  • That's the worst! Got nothing for ya other than you can skip cooking and toss a salad in a bowl and just be done with it. At least that's what I do when I'm feeling indecisive.
  • I LOVE THAT SHOW!!!! I have read all the books too... I'm an Eric fan. Sigh.
  • I'm not entirely sure if this helps BUT.... when I ride bike or run I will generally burn about 150-200 calories in the first 30 minutes and about 200-300 calories in the last 30 minutes. So If I broke up my 60 minutes I would burn 300-400 a day versus 350-500 a day. My suggestion would be that on your way home you…
  • Stick with it. If time allows, 30-60 minutes of cardio afterwards. When you complete it, start it over with heavier weights and increase your cardio intensity :) My first round with 3 lb weights, I included an hour of biking. My second round with 5 lb weights, I included running intervals. My third round with 8 lb weights,…
  • 55 lbs in 5 months for me. I think everyone is different. I have logged more exercise hours in the last 5 months than most people do in a year. It takes a lot of work and a lot of knowledge. I've had to adjust the amounts and types of workouts and my daily calorie allowance has been down and up and down and up. Find what…
  • http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/exercise-equipment/supreme90dayworkoutreviews/ Some really great reviews if you want to hear what others have to say about it!
  • MY husband and I are on day 19 and so far we love it. The workouts are not as long as P90X. So far the longest one is 40 minutes long and that includes a warm up and cool down. As far as results...I can't really say because I also run. This is the only thing my husband does and he doesn't have weight to lose but he is…
  • Good chance that you did too much too soon. As a runner, the recommendations are that you increase mileage onlt 10% at a time. The day after my long runs that average about 7-8 miles I usually am a little sore but I stil get up and take a brisk 4-5 mile walk. On weeks that i do a 10% increase i am sore all week but keep at…
  • 5'5" and I struggle with muscles. I seem to build up the muscle more than the average which is making it very hard to be in a healthy BMI range for my height/weight ratio even tho my BF% is near 27% ( very healthy!) About 2 lbs away from dipping into BMI healthy range. I WILL get there...and I am certain all of us can with…
  • Sounds like you need to ditch the husband. If my husband ever talked that way to me...under any circumstance, he would be gone. I have daughters. A man who is willing to degrade his wife or any woman, for that matter, belongs some place dark and alone. If someone talked to your daughter that way, you would be searching for…
  • LOVE LOVE LOVE our NOOK COLOR! My 16 month old daughter and 8 year old daughter use it also. They have awesome apps FINALLY. My oldest practices her math and spelling and reads and reads and reads. My youngest loves the drawing apps and the books that are read out loud to her. I love reading on the Nook while I am working…
  • And if you are going to take pictures in your bathroom, at least clean your toilet! and put your 'creams' in the drawer... I don't want to know that you have 'problems' in certain 'areas'. LOL Seriously, I know what you mean! I also am into photography and while some stuff is unavoidable and unintentional...some things can…
  • DITTO! I LOVE MY Polar FT7!
  • Chocolate Goldfish 50 of them for 140 cals and Jello sugar free chocolate mousse for only 60 cals! but honestly I eat at least 1 or 2 candy bars a week but then I choose to eat them on days that I burned more than 600 cals. LOL So I guess I work for them!
  • This is one I used for a few weeks. I love it! I still use it every once in awhile. When I was using it, I would do an hour of cardio afterwards. In the month that I used it I lost 10 lbs...just keep in mind that I didn't use it exclusively and I didn't use it for the full 6 weeks as it was intended. I do plan on doing it…
  • 3 rounds and 30 lbs and over 30 inches. 1.5 rounds of Ripped in 30 and that was another 15 lbs and 10 inches. I also ran/biked 60-90 minutes a day and used JM's other DVD's when I thought I needed more. Currently using Zumba and longer distance running to hopefully get the last 10 lbs off. G'luck! You will do wonderfully!
  • Peanut butter and banana sandwich is my fave!!! Sometimes I drizzle a little sugar free chocolate syrup on it too. I use Peter Pan Whipped Peanut Butter...less sugar and less calories and VERY YUM!
  • I bought a few from Target...they are neon colored, can't think of the brand off hand, but I LOVE them. Super comfy. Super supportive. Super price 16.99. Sweating makes the colors bleed through on to whatever you are wearing so must be sure to wash them a few times before using. LOL
