I am in the same boat of trying to lose body fat. I would recommend that instead of doing 60 minutes of steady state cardio that you add in days where you do HIIT cardio. Not to be rude but walking with the weights in your hands does absolutely nothing to tone your arms. If you are walking with the weights for the entire 5k your body becomes acclimated to this extra weight. You might become stronger but you will not become more toned. you should definitely alternate your long steady state cardio days with shorter intense cardio work-outs like HITT (high intensity interval training). not true. salt also has chloride in it...chloride and chlorine are not the same thing. do some research before posting silly things.
