If you hit up your spice racks in the grocery stores you can find some good lemon and garlic, rotisserie and italian seasonings. There are a ton of different mixes worth trying. Emeril's has a good all purpose seasoning for all meats. Check your area for a spice shop as well. We have some in our area that sell herbs and…

coffee, tea, spices, veggies like celery or green peppers used in recipes, lettuce...etc. I don't usually log much for salads because it's more work than needed since I only put greens on them. I do log dressings, cheese or meat if I put it on them. I have my goal set at 1.5lbs/wk and I'm averaging about 2.4lbs/wk so I'm…

Guys...just flag it as advertising. No reason to feed the troll that will never come back

Good job for quitting. I know how hard it is as I quit about 5 years ago. I think that most people substitute eating for cravings and that's the cause for weight gain

US Navy suggest doing cardio first. The reasoning is that you want to time your meal after your workout within 45 minutes of doing strength training to supply your muscles with protein so they can start rebuilding.

My 30 day average has been 1876/1900 so I pretty much eat all of them. I manually set my goals slightly lower than 1lb/wk and I don't usually eat back my exercise calories which has netted me an average of 1.8lb/wk loss the past 14 days.

I like Endomondo personally. I have used others over the years and like this one the best so far.

I usually eat on the weekdays around 5:15-5:30am. This is generally after a 45-60 minute workout in the mornings.

My brother and his wife were like this a few years ago. I lost 50 pounds and they were constantly telling me that I needed to eat more. They were on Weight Watchers and not losing any weight. An example of the way they ate, I saw the two of them put down an entire taco kit. That's 1/2lb of beef each along with seasoning,…

Make sure that your sex is set correctly too. It should have flagged the days that you logged under 1500 calories as being too low. Males bottom at 1500 calories/day and females 1200 cal/day.

200g of milk chocolate is only around 1100 calories so most people would probably lose weight. Though they would gain little nutritional benefit.

I don't intentionally cheat on my calories. I believe that I've only went over my calories once or twice. I followed that up with a hard exercise the following day though. Make sure that you are eating enough protein and fiber. Those will help you feel full longer.

Assuming that you are 25 years old and exercising 3x's per week, IIFYM has a TDEE of 2300. Subtract 1000 from that and it gives you 1300 calories. That should net you about 2lbs per week.

Why do people keep repeating this statement like it's gospel? It's not true. You can add muscle while on a calorie deficit.

Hamburger should not be grey after cooking. I rarely order a burger when eating out, let a lone from McD's. The only thing that I have ordered from McD's in the past 3 years has been a cola or ice creame cone.

I enjoy deleting cookies too...nom nom nom ;) BTW, I created an SP account and it's range hits the same here. I think it's using NEAT because there is an option for it to calculate your calories without exercise. Perhaps it uses both depending upon what options you use.

I thought the thread title was Dunkin Diet...sadly disappointed

Thank you, I needed to reevaluate at my past month's stats and realize that I have lost 5 pounds and not to be concerned with the last 2 weeks of little/no loss.

Hourly....jk I weigh in daily :)

Don't feel bad Anushani, I'm in the same boat. I've been exercising and weighing food and haven't seen much movement on the scale for a couple of weeks either. I'm hoping that it will start going down again soon. Good job on your weight loss

personally I like Endomondo. it has a good interface and I enjoy the stats that it delivers. Actually it gave me more info that I anticipated.

I started C25k a few weeks ago. I used to run often a couple of years ago and getting back into it so my progression was pretty quick. After wk 2, I decided to start running full 5k's on the treadmill. That was at 5mph. Monday I hit the street because the weather was nice and ran 5k in 37min. Last night I stepped it up…

I wasn't saying not to take rest days, just that it's not necessary. You can do cardio every day if you wished, there are many programs that do, like T25 or Insanity. One of the great parts about the C25k program is that it is very flexible. For me, I usually get up at 4am and I'm running by 4:15-4:20ish. I don't eat…

I was reluctant to weigh my food all of the time. When I first started, it took longer to weigh and log the food than it did to eat it. Now, after almost 45 days, it seems routine.
