So your a typical 19 year old that knows more than you think you really do. Don't believe the color chart, don't believe anything any one else tells you. By all means keep doing what you're doing and don't listen to any of the medical community's advice in regards to hydration...surely you know more than they do...

I'm glad you have a better outlook that I did. People are just making my *kitten* twitch today...
-
And this is the reason why most people leave their diaries private. Give the guy a break, he didn't ask for a review of his diary, he just reported back with how things were going.
-
It amazes me that people will still try and tell you that you're doing it wrong, even though you know what you're doing and still losing weight on target. Keep up the great work @RacineFan

If the scale isn't moving 99% of the time it's because you are eating too much. It could be due to logging errors or missing meals and estimating. I recommend buying a digital food scale and weighing everything that you eat. Food scales aren't expensive (~$20) and it will save you a headache.

If you are unsure, plug your info into MFP and see what it tells you. Sometimes it can be overwhelming on what to follow especially when every online calculator gives you a different number. I like http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ calculators and www.fat2fit.com

LOL, i was thinking the same thing :D

You increased your weights significantly and your body responded by retaining more water for muscle repair. It will go away but it may take from a few days to a week to go back.
-
That was my point earlier. There is no way that someone his age, at his weight can maintain a 3500 calorie deficit per day for 3-4 months without being hospitalized.
-
Yeah my BS meter just spiked. So he's trying to tell everyone that his maintenance was 4500 calories?...BS An athlete may have a maintenance level at 4500 calories but not an average person, celebrity or not. There's no way it was that high to create a deficit of 3500 calories per day.

You should aim to at least eat to your goal without dipping into the exercise calories. If you continue daily like this, after a few days you will start feeling exhausted and weak. I did the same thing when I started and got to the point where I could barely put effort into my cardio workouts.
-
I don't have any tips other than what's already said. So I'll give you a trick....weigh in first thing in the morning after using the bathroom. And speak nice words to your scale as you step on, he's your friend after all :)
-
To a degree, yes. Your body will get used to the lower calories. If you are feeling fatigued though, you may have your calorie settings too low. You should still be able to complete a workout. I had mine set at 1500 and after 3 days, I could barely do a workout and had to change my goal from 2lbs/wk loss.

I turned off Adblock and I got BattleFrog Series (obstacle course made by Navy Seals) and Camera supplies :) Yeah I'm a photographer :P

You might want to look into suspension trainers like TRX or WOSS. Amazon has several cheaper versions than the TRX that do the same thing for about $30-$40. There are a ton of videos online for different exercises to do with it. I use the WOSS brand and haven't had any problems with it, just make sure that you get one that…

I'll toss mine out there Male 5'11" 188 NEAT (don't eat back unless I'm starving) 2000 BF 22% Work out 3x's per week (Insanity Max30 & TRX)

I think everyone is confusing you. You don't want to net a negative number. What MFP tells you is this Goal | Food - Exercise = Net Your net should be close to your goal. Your goal should give you a weight loss per week of what ever you told MFP you want to lose each week.

I start off my shopping in the fruit and vegetable area. I usually make a meal plan as I'm going through and find ingredients that fit in the meals and are in season. I usually have a few meals that are pretty common like grilled chicken or hamburgers that I spice up differently depending upon what is in season. I will…

I can tell you that it's normal fluctuations and water weight. I went through a similar experience this past weekend and was up 2 pounds. I've lost 1 of them so far and working my bum off this week to get the other gone too. Just look at your overall trend and if it's going down, you're fine and will get there. Just keep…
-
That's because MFP isn't a diet, or maybe MFP didn't pay them to conduct the research ;)
-
You are normally a little heavier the day following a lifting day. Your body is retaining water for muscle repair.

Read @Helloitsdan profile and read the In Place of a Roadmap. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/974888/in-place-of-a-road-map-2k13 There are times where you have come off of a huge weight loss and plateaued, which is where you are.
-
I would suspect that you are eating far too little to sustain your weight loss. You may not feel light headed or weak but I would guess that your body is screaming for more fuel. I've done it myself and I kept up my weight loss even though I've added 500 calories/day over what MFP told me to eat. Trust the calculators and…
-
I would measure your body fat by tape measurements. Use fat2fit.com and they have some fairly accurate BF calculators that are based upon body measurements.

Could you possibly be any more rude? Give her a break, we all have these kinds of freak out moments, even if it's a half second long. Every time I get on the scale and it has gone up, even 0.2 pounds, I start to question what I've been doing, how accurate (or inaccurate) I have been weighing my food...etc. It happens and…

There is the saying "weight loss happens in the kitchen..." but if you want a good exercise program there is T25, Insanity, Insanity Max30, P90x. Those are the ones that I rotate between.

Have you ever tried fasting for breakfast until lunch or later in the morning? It's something that I'm going to try next week to help curb my mid-morning appetite/snack. Your morning breakfast could be setting you up for a mid-morning blood sugar crash, leading you to feel hungry before lunch.
-
I'm thinking of just staying off of the interwebs until tomorrow...can't take anything serious today :D
-
I hear sugar-free gummy bears will work...maybe too well. Read the Amazon reviews :D
