  • I felt like that last week but upped my exercise this week and cut out some more rubbish. I am now starting to get some good habits in and bad ones out. Stay with it.

  • Cheers, just taking it easy this week and will get back on it on Monday. I am dredding weighing tomorrow but I just have to face it.
  • Thanks, I will do. I think I over expected my recovery. I was eating in deficit before i was ill. It was steady and I was dropping about a kilo a week. I will give myself a bit rest. Cheers.
  • Keep a glass of water at hand, break up the drinks with water intervals and try and stay away from the nibbles also.
  • There was something about reduced glucose levels also which was seen as positive results but I don't understand glucose levels.
  • Yeah, it was the adding up to year that I noted most. 125 a day isn't a much, but multiplied into a year is fairly interesting. Anyway, I am having a little try, it certainly won't hurt, and if it does, I will sit down.
  • Yeah, I'm giving it a try, just moved my laptop to a standing position, nothing extreme. It's not too much of anything. If anything, too much sitting would be bad anyway. Standing for an extra three to four hours a day, last time I checked was not all day.

  • I'd be surprised if the meal itself weighed that much. What did you eat? Deep fried crispy One Tonne? I have never experienced a gain like that overnight and have no suggestions but let us know if it has gone by next weigh in.

  • It has started slowly for me but it is getting better. I think a big part for me is that I haven't had an alcohol in nearly 4 weeks. This has led me to become more focused and have more energy. I also have more time to do stuff in the evenings as I am not wasting that time drinking.

  • I am hitting 600 cal a day. But yes, the lighter you get the more you need to do to burn right? Morning walk, night time walk, walking up stairs and some general messing about stuff that I don't register - doing squats with my 44kg daughter sitting on my shoulders.

  • What is a NSV? I see it is something good but what does it stand for? 1 - walked up the the roof of my apartment block this morning - 18 flights of stairs. 2 - good result on the scales this morning.
