I liked it. I didn't stick with it, but I'm planing on picking it up again. I felt tighter after 4weeks, sadly I didn't take measurements.
-
Me too. Has anyone done these dvd's? How are they?

Unfortunately, GNC and others like it will try to sell you everything under the sun. If you have a Trader Joe's around you, pick up protein powder there. I got a 2lb tub for $14.

Rule #1 - CARDIO!!! (from Zombieland)

I like their Bistro Boxes...most of them are under 400cals. My faves are Chicken & Hummus and the Chicken Chipotle box.

It's Tony Horton, I have no doubt that it can work for you to get you started. If 10mins is not enough you can do another workout. I love his P90X program, and this seems like a very compressed version of the types of exercises he usually does. GL.

^^THIS!

It's mostly going to be water weight. Cut down on sugar and carbs (white bread, white rice, potatoes, etc.)
-
Can seltzer water be substituted instead of regular water? I find that I drink my water intake faster when I drink seltzer, otherwise I end up chugging regular water (what I couldn't drink during the day) and end up with stomach cramps.

Bump. I'm considering getting a kettle-bell, too. Thoughts, comments, suggestions?!

Ok, so I got the Bragg's ACV with the MOther from GNC today. I saw it and remembered this thread so I decided for $4 is worth a try. From what I understand, its one 1 tablespoon per 8oz or more (depending on your preference). I hope this works!

I don't mean to sound mean, but if you keep thinking like that, you will have a very hard time losing the weight. You need to eat! Get in a good mixture of complex carbs and lots of protein. Avoid sugar filled foods and try to eat clean.
-
Careful of consuming too much sugar through fruit...that might be a problem. Try for more water based fruits. For every one serving of fruit, you need 2 servings of vegetables.
-
You need to eat more to loose more. Especially if you are doing things like Insanity, P90X, etc. Calculate your TDEE, and based on that, determine how high you need to go in your calories.

I was just reading this, this morning! I was about to post, but you beat me to it. Interesting article.

Not the only virgin here...to be honest to be a virgin in this day and age is like being a Unicorn! It's nothing to be ashed off. Even if you had never been in a relationship, that is also nothing to be ashamed of. Most people think that they can't get laid or date because of the way they look which is so not true. This…

Keep in mind that bone mass and body structure play a role in what is a healthy weight for your. Most of those charts that trainers/doctors use do not take that into account. If you think 170 is a good weight for your, given your height and body structure, then you should stop there.

Not all ab exercises are equal. If a person has problems where they can't do floor work, a machine might be a better alternative.

Salad with dressing on the side. Depending on what you get, maybe ask for some of the fatty ingredients to be limited or removed.

^^THIS!^^ Which unfortunately is kind of ridiculous and very unrealistic...they are loosing that weight waayyy to fast. I wonder how many of the previous contestants gain some of it back.
-
Not that I necessarily mind; sometimes I tend to feel out of whack when I don't go in the morning.
-
This might be TMI, but I've noticed that when I have coffee before my breakfast (i.e on an empty stomach), I tend to need to use the bathroom, if I haven't done so already upon waking up. :/

Hi, If you choose to bring your meals, I think your team will understand since you have some food intolerances. As for working you, pool sounds like a good idea; Also if you get wireless in your room and have netflix, they have good 10min solutions workouts if you are pressed for time. Good luck!

Never keep them for "just in case" because that might lead to slacking off and gaining weight again. I donated mine to the Salvation army.

An inch above your belly button. This is your waist. I also measure around the widest part because this is what I see first (and the more upsetting since I want it to be gone)

For most women it will never fully go away. The best thing you can do is core based workouts (planks, bicycles,etc.). Don't do this everyday, it won't really make that much difference (you don't work your other muscles everyday! or at least you shouldn't). You don't need it (Tony Horton's advice!) I personally love P90X's…

You are mostly going to lose water weight, but here it is: 1. Limit Carbs - low glycimic index 2. Drink at least 50% of your weight in water 3. Lots of greens and lean mean 4. Avoid/limit fruits (some have lots of sugar) 5. Cardio (try doing HIIT) DO NOT DO THIS FOR MORE THAN A WEEK! Added: Also it's not necessary to eat…

I'm on week 5 of P90X, and I loathe yoga! I started doing the cardio x and core synergistics instead of yoga...the last week of each phase is a recovery week and its yoga every other day DDD: That was not fun.
