Yeah it's most likely water retention. Don't feel too bad, my weight fluctuates by 10 pounds over a month :( Very annoying!

I try to eat 3 meals a day at specific times, usually 7am, 1pm and 6pm, and basically I force myself not to eat in between. If I do, I snack on fruit whenever I'm hungry, and don't count them as calories because we need the vitamins!

This happened to me for a few months to begin with. I think it's because you're body gets stressed out with the changes to your lifestyle so it sort of shuts down certain processes (that's just the nerdy biologist talking). It came back in the 3rd month from what I remember though, so don't worry :)

I'm 22 and I was pretty much bullied my whole life for my weight, which weirdly made me shut down and do nothing. I'm finally in a place where I want to be healthy for me, not to please the cool kids....who don't exist in my world anyway because I'm a scientist :P

I'd like to meet some people who are trying to lose weight too. I have about 20 lbs to lose to get to a "healthy" weight and be able to wear whatever I want!! Feel free to add me :)
