Thanks for all your responses! I'm coming back to comment now that I've done it for 6 days in a row. I walked for an average of 4 hrs every day. Two of the days, it was about 4.5 hrs. My highest calorie burn was 1172 calories. So far, I'm loving it. It's been easy to walk and work... using the laptop and mouse is not hard…

My husband and I just got this program and were planning to start. We'd love to join!

Omg....this was hilarious. I had to share it with my family and friends since they all have to deal with my GF restrictions and incessant nagging about wheat products. haha. thanks for sharing!

You look fantastic and so happy in the last picture! Also...do I see new ink on your arm in the second and third photo?! I like it!

I have PCOS and I'm Gluten Intolerant (eliminating Gluten automatically drops my carbs down, I've noticed) so both of those things require me to follow a low carb diet. I'm try for a cushion between A and B but usually end up on the high side of B or low C.

I got my tattoo for MANY of the same reasons as you and I did a lot of research before-hand on something that I felt not only represented the hard times I've been through, but the good times ahead of me. That's why I decided to go with a beautiful Japanese cherry blossom tree tattoo on my ribs! Here is mine: (hope it…

You look superb! I have PCOS and Gluten Intolerance... until I put the two together, I couldn't lose the weight no matter how hard I tried, but now that I'm Gluten free, low carb, I've been able to start losing weight. I hope to have results like you. You truly look amazing! Keep going, you can do it!

^^ This. I just found out I'm Gluten Intolerant and this week, I've finally discovered what it feels like to not be bloated or feel lethargic and fatigued. I've lost 5 lbs which may or may not be from going Gluten free, low carb but I find it a bit of coincidence that since I started this lifestyle change, the weight has…

I just found out I have a Gluten intolerance and it's been 4 days on low carb, gluten free lifestyle change and I'm down 2 lbs which I previously could not lose for the life of me! I'm really excited and hopeful now, especially since you've had great results. Way to go!

My fiance and I HATED this part...so we went online and bought a CO2 paintball tank and an adapter that fits into the Sodastream machine. No more 14.99 exchanges. We fill up at ****'s sporting goods for $3.99 about once a month! Worth the $ you pay for the tank and adapter!

THIS ^^^ Minus the chocolate and add in caramel. Ugh. My downfall in a neat little list. :)

I am floored by all of your responses and the support. THANK YOU so much! It all helps and even beyond the advice here at MFP, the support system is the best thing someone starting out on a weight loss journey can have. You guys are awesome :)

When it's with the right person, then yes. It's completely possible. :) It won't always be sunshine and rainbows but if you're unhappy more times than you're happy in a relationship, then it may not be the right relationship for you.

WAY TO GO! So proud of you! We're on day 10 and the hubby-to-be is down 13 lbs now and I'm only down 3 1/2 ish :( Hope during the second phase, I will see some better results!

I did C5K a year and a half ago and I LOVED it! I went from doing absolutely NO exercise to 9 weeks later running a 5K! I ended up with a 33:33 time. Which isn't horrible but not my goal either! I truly believe that it works for everyone. A friend of mine did it as well as she was over 250lbs and it was incredible for her…

bumping a post ensures that the post stays near the top so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle of posts. Notice the amount of posts that get posted within 30 minutes? If people don't see your post or "bump" your posts, you most likely won't get comments on it.

Great job! You look fantastic!!! Keep up the great work!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you guys a quick heads up...I found a forum that was created specifically for Advocare... http://www.advocarecommunity.net It's got all the printables and it looks pretty new but I think it's a great opportunity for all MFP'ers and anyone wanting to talk specfically about Advocare to get…

Wow you look fantastic! Very inspiring! Congrats on everything you've been doing!

I actually had the opposite problem!! I was in the bathroom like 3 or 4 times a day the first couple days of the cleanse. I felt really bloated too. But it seems to have evened out now!

I'm on day 5 and my fiance has lost 8lbs but I've only lost 1.2 lbs! We are sticking to the plan 95%, I don't understand why I'm not losing more :(
-
Thank you SO much! This really helps! I didn't realize how filling the fiber drink and spark drink is in the morning! I almost wasn't hungry for breakfast but ate some fruit anyway!
-
BUMP! I love this thread. Can I just add the entire Victoria's Secret swimsuit catalog as motivation?!?!

I am having the same problem and I am on medication that makes women gain weight, so I'm fighting a double struggle. It's very frustrating and discouraging. I have been scouring MFP threads and I think it could be LOTS of things...its just trying to narrow down what is going on and how to fix it. But that takes time, and…

My favorite Girl Scout cookies are Caramel Delights and I was pleasantly surprised that 1 cookies is only 70 calories. It's not GREAT but it's a lot less than I originally thought. I bought 7 boxes, yes 7 boxes before I started my diet. I've done so well with it, I can't even believe it. I used to eat a whole box in one…

ooh I love this topic! I have been perfecting my workout/running play list for months now! I'm just gonna list all of mine, you may have different musical tastes so feel free to disregard any that you don't like but its a mix of really fast and some middle tempo so you're getting both the high beats when you're running and…

Snacking isn't always bad, it's mostly WHAT and HOW much you eat that makes the difference. If you find yourself hungry, put healthier alternatives in the same spot that an unhealthier choice is located. There are also more than just "fruit and veggies" for healthy snacks these days. Sure, those are great to snack on, but…
