  • Love Violife parmesan, and Kite Hill cream cheese is delish.
  • Oatmilk makes awesome froth. It's my favorite of all the non-dairy milks for lattes.
  • I like to sautee it in a little olive oil with some thinly sliced garlic, and add a little salt and pepper + a tiny sprinkle of red pepper flakes. So tasty!
  • I've been throwing cashews into my smoothies for extra creaminess and fat too, super good! My recent concoction has been 1 cup of oat milk, 1 cup fresh strawberries, 1/2 frozen banana, some lemon zest, and 1 oz raw unsalted cashews. Yummy and keeps me going until lunch, too.
  • I think it depends really, but I prefer MFP. I did WW for a bit last year, and was losing fairly steadily for the first month or so. Then one day i found myself really hungry, had met my points for the day, but didn't feel like I had eaten that much. I plugged in what I had eaten into MFP out of curiosity, and had eaten…
  • Skinnytaste has a delicious and light chocolate chip cheesecake. I made it for the Superbowl a few years ago and it was a hit! Check out the blog, lots of great lighter meal, appetizer and dessert ideas.
  • Awesome post, you can do it!! I felt that way at the end of last year, and have been working on losing the weight for about two months. About eight pounds down now! Please feel free to add me as a friend if you're looking for more support, as I'm always looking for pals with the same-ish goals :)
  • The roasted stuffed poblano peppers are out of this world! A little more work so I tend to make it on weekends, but definitely worth it. The Un-Stuffed cabbage soup is also in heavy rotation in our house, but everything we've made from the book has been great. Enjoy!
  • 32 years old in Texas, looking to lose about 75 lbs. would love more supportive friends, so please add me!
  • I have 75-85 lbs to lose. Feel free to add me, we can do this!
  • Hi ladies! I'm always looking for supportive friends and encouragement, so please feel free to add me if you like! Good luck to all :)
  • The Mexicali and Crunchy Slaw salads are SO good, and great when you need a quick and healthy lunch!
  • Amy's Enchilada and Tamale meals are some of my absolute faves. You can get both in either cheese or black bean, and they're filling and tasty. Plus, the ingredient lists are usually a little closer to something you'd make at home.
  • Hey there! Sounds like a similar story to mine - I'll be 32 this year, and am looking to lose 75-80 lbs. Shoot me a friend request if you like, and good luck!!
  • I've heard from a couple of dietitians that the basic cholesterol test/lipid profile doesn't really tell you much, and that people with high cholesterol should be requesting VAP tests for a clearer picture: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17110240. It measures cholesterol particle size among other things, which may be a…
  • I swear by Skinnytaste - that woman is a genius, and she has an entire section devoted to lighter Super Bowl recipes: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/01/top-20-skinny-superbowl-roundup.html
  • I have a hard time eating first thing in the morning, so I love having a smoothie for breakfast instead. As a result, mine tend to be "meal sized" and have around 250-300 cals in them. This is my current favorite: 1 c unsweetened soy milk 1 half cucumber, chopped 2 celery stalks, chopped 1/3 grapefruit 2 c fresh spinach or…
