No, I could go out and get one. We don't live near a CVS or anything that carries them, so it'd be a little bit of a trip sans-car. I can just get one next time I'm on the train. He asked me if I wanted anything so I threw that out there. Another time I could go and get it, but I'm mostly asking if it would be…

Bolthouse dressings are pretty pricey. I like Old Cape Cod light poppyseed dressing. 80 cals per 2TBS and lower in sodium than some Kraft light dressings. I also like any light rasberry vinegairette. On my salads I like romaine lettuce, baby spinach, a pouch of tuna, sprinkle of feta cheese, one cut up hard boiled egg, a…

Sure. But I'd add some protein in there so you feel fuller, longer. I love Quaker quick oats made with 1/2c almond milk, mix in 1TBS peanut butter and half a banana, with a hard boiled egg on the side. Keeps me full until lunch.

I either hike at a park, bike when it's warm but lately I've been doing HIIT (Fitness Blender 20 minute) on 2-3x per week. I do Strong Lifts M-W-F.

Texas Roadhouse: shrimp on a skewer with double portion of broccoli/carrots and cup of chili. Wendys: Asiago grilled chicken club no bacon, large chili with one sour cream packet. McDonalds: sweet chili grilled chicken wrap and a blueberry pomegranate smoothie. Or oatmeal and a smoothie (they serve oatmeal all day) Boston…

So you're doing 30 Day Shred and C25K? If I remember correctly 30DS is a 6 day a week program and C25K is 3 days a week. 1500-1700 cals a day may not be enough if you're working out that much. If I were you and wanted to do both programs I'd first buy a heart rate monitor to wear and log my cals accurately so that I could…

I like baking English muffin pizzas using the Thomas' Lite multigrain (they're 100 cals a piece so 50 cals per pizza), a little pizza sauce, measure out the cheese (I use part skim mozzerella, not fat free cuz its gross) and 2 or 3 slices pepperoni or ham and pineapple chunks for mini hawaiian pizzas, you can also add…

I didn't read the above comments so sorry if this is duplicate: I cut mine in half lengthwise, scoop out the middle mush and seeds, place it in a deep microwavable dish crater up, fill the crater with water, place the other half back on top, cover dish, microwave for 10 minutes, take out (be careful it gets HOTTTT), remove…

Spinach salad with other green veggies with 1/2c low fat cottage cheese and a pouch of tuna plus a TBS of sunflower seeds or almonds equals about 50g of protein. I'm not a great cook either and I like individually packaged marinated Tilapia. I use the Morey's by Sam's club (not sure if in Canada) I just throw them on the…

I mix in strawberries or pineapple or apricots or raisins with cinnamon. It's not that great with pomegranate seeds BTW. I also like to mix in chives and use it as a spread or dip. On a baked sweet potato with butter. I also like to add it to a green salad with tuna, broccoli, cucumbers, sunflower seeds and a light…

Casein protein before bed (it's a slow release protein). I second protein shake, hard boiled eggs and even cottage cheese or a glass of low fat milk before bed s great.

I don't think it's a big deal and I do believe it's water weight you lost. If you said you normally just have soda and coffee and rarely water that's quite a bit of sodium (soda) without water to flush it out of your system. I know if I drink a ton of soda I get bloated and puffy very quickly. If I flush it out with a…

Buy some Girl Scout cookies, they're everywhere right now :)

Have you tried substituting quinoa for rice? I tried the brown rice thing and it just doesn't taste good to me at all! Quinoa has changed my life, lol. I eat it in/on everything; chili, tacos/fajitas, soups, salads, by itself as a side dish, with lots of veggies mixed in. Love it. Oh yeah, and spaghetti squash! Now I can…

Like others have said I have a snack before and dinner after. I either eat 2oz chicken (I like the Oscar Mayer carving board meats) with a string cheese or a protein bar or a small bag of cashews before with a full bottle of water then I go home and eat dinner. I also workout between 4-6 pm.

Wii Just Dance game. I lost 30 lbs in the beginning of my weight loss doing Just Dance for 30-45 minutes a day, it's so fun the minutes fly by. My 4 and 3 yr old both like to join in.

Awesome NSV!! I can totally relate. My husband and I go on a yearly ski trip every February for his bday. In 2013 we went and I had a pair of XL Columbia ski pants that I wore one pair of light leggings under which did not button, all I could manage was the zipper so the whole day I was terrified my paints were going to…

I don't eat much fish either but I really like Tilapia and tuna. Thos e are great substitutes. Ham steaks are pretty inexpensive too and easy to cook up. I use them in crock pot lentil soup and cut them into quarters and use them to make ham, egg and cheese muffins.

I've only just started SL 5X5, I'm into week 3. I started with just the bar (45lbs) except with squats and DL (squats I started at 55lbs, DL 60lbs) and as of yesterday I'm at 55lbs (25kg) for bench press, 50lbs (22.5kg) OHP, 115lbs (52kg) DL, 75lbs (34kg) squat, and 75lbs (34kg) barbell row. I'm loving the program so far!

Starbucks Tazo green tea bags that are pretty yummy. I brew about 32 oz at a time and I add 1 TBS stevia to the pitcher while it's still warm then chill it and drink. I also like the Lipton Green bottled teas mixed berry and citrus DIET. I don't drink them often but they're good to grab if I'm out and about and want…

You have to want it bad enough and make it work. I have a 4 yr old boy and 3 year old girl and work full time also. I am married though and it hasn't always been easy but I have had several talks with my husband about him being supportive of my efforts and me trying to improve myself. At first he would try to sabotage me…

Make sure you're drinking plenty of water, real water, not soda or juice, etc. Fatigue is one of the first signs of dehydration. I also like to drink a cup of flavored green tea after lunch, keeps me from getting the after lunch "itis", lol. If not this it could be something more serious and you may need to see your doctor…

[I would split them up for example mwf - lift then 10-15min hiit tth - cardio SS - rest
This is my schedule but I only do 5-6 minute HIIT after lifting (I'm doing SL 5X5 and that's about all I can muster for HIIT after that, my legs are jelly afterwards)

To piggyback on the sandwich idea, try Wawa or Subaways nutritional info lunch builder on their website. You can plug in the ingredients you like and delete the ones that add too many calories and build your own sub to meet your calorie needs. My favorite at Wawa is a turkey shortie, double meat, no cheese with lettuce,…

If you work at a desk (like me) you should bring snacks and lunch so you're not so tempted to overeat or eat unhealthy things when lunch time rolls around. Every day I bring at least 3 usually 4 snacks ad 2 meals for an 8 hr day. This is what it typically looks like: 6am- coffee on the way to work, 8am- greek yogurt,…

No success yet but I do their 5 minute HIIT video 3x a week after I do my SL 5x5 workout. It's an intense but fast 5 minutes!

Butter Toffee. But my daily is Donut Shop, I use one a day. I did however get some ground coffee for Christmas and have been using the keurig filter with that in it for the past week. Another great way to use the keurig is for hot water for my green tea or hot cocoa.

I'm just starting out, started SL monday and I'll do my 3rd workout today! I do a 5 minute Fitness Blender HIIT workout right after my lifting and Tuesday I did JMBR cardio 1 (30 minutes) and yesterday I did a 20 minute high intensity cardio workout using my Sworkit app. Weekends I just stay active with cleaning the house,…

I made this 2 days ago, it was amazing. Tasted similar to a hearty beef stew but with about 195 cals per serving. It was very filling! There was also enough left over for mine and hubby's lunch today. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/slow-cooker-lentil-and-ham-soup/ I also made some quinoa in chicken broth, garlic powder and…
