  • There is milk IN cookies so..... I say YES!! Lol I only log water as water, milk I log under a meal or snack.
  • Body fat calculators online are garbage. Very innacurate most of the time. You need to have your body fat % measured using calipers or one of those dunk tanks.
  • I've got a personal training session tonight at 6, woot woot!
  • I'm 30, 5'7" and I have lost 53lbs so far this year. I started out slow just adding in light cardio and eating about 1200-1300 cals a day (I was doing 30-45 minutes of Just Dance on my Wii each day), then in March I started and completed 30 day shred (upped my calories to 1400 per day), then in April I started Insanity…
  • As soon as I knew SIL was getting serious with her BF (now fiance) I made it my goal to lose at least 85 lbs this year! I knew I would be asked to be a bridesmaid and as she and her friends are gorgeous I didn't want to be the 240lb beast of the group, lol. I'm down 53lbs so far this year and just joined a gym to start…
  • Quinoa and steam in the bag veggies. I also love to have low fat sour cream mixed with picante sauce on top of the chicken breast for flavor.
  • Bumping to hopefully add my results later tonight. I just finished on Thursday and need to take my pics and measurements. Wt loss was 19lbs.

  • If you don't already have a George Foreman grill, get one. It's quick and easy to make grilled chicken for salads, paninis, quesadillas, wraps, breakfast burritos, grilled cheese sandwiches (for you or the kids), grilled chicken hot dogs, turkey burgers, etc. Great for quick lunches and dinners, I couldn't live without…

  • Online friends. I have the best group of mommy friends (we all have kids about the same age, we met through an online mommy website for our childrens age group) on FB that keep me going every day and bring me back to reality if/when life gets hectic and I start to lose steam. We share inspirational quotes, pictures of our…
  • It also varies a ton on how hard you push yourself and what workout you're doing. My first time doing the Fit Test (day 1) I only burned about 250 cals. Then It could vary between 300-550 for month one workouts. Recovery week I burned about 350-450 because I was pushing a little harder each week because I was stronger.…
  • In the first month I only lost about 5 inches overall (waist, hips, bust, thighs, arms, but 11lbs) but I'm on my last day today (day 63) and will be taking my measurements in a few days. Month 2 is where all the magic happened for me.
  • Forgot to check in Monday! Again, lol
  • My husband made a hanging one using a piece of wood screwed into the cieling of our laundry room (make sure he screws it into a joint not just cieling plaster) then screwed in 2 heavy duty hooks from Home Depot. We hang the bikes from the wheels. I wish I had a picture but hope you get the idea. You can google it to get an…
  • I also agree. Drink plenty of water (yay breastfeeding!!) and eat. I think 1300 calories is too low for anyone breastfeeding with only about 15lbs to lose. Just my opinion. I breastfed my daughter for 2 years. If I stayed at 1300 cals a day I probably would have chewed my own arms off.
  • I was 207lbs when I bought my HRM and was on level 3 of the shred, I'm 5'7" and burned 284 calories. I never wore it for level 1 or 2 so I don't know :( but I used to log roughly 205 cals for level 1 and 230 for level 2. Before I had a HRM I logged it under Cardiovascular- Curves Circuit Training, I found that gave me the…
  • I have coffee everyday, with creamer and Stevia, I log the K cup, creamer and Stevia even though the Stevia has no calories.
  • Like a deflating balloon, I know the feeling. I'm feeling muscle soreness in my abs WAAAY more in month 2 than month 1, I'm moving into week 8 right now : Fit Test #4 today!
  • I used to hate it but now I eat it almost every day. I have to get the already flavored kind, plain and adding to plain is gross. I like Chobani and the Kroger brands, they're pretty creamy when you stir them very well before eating.
  • Amazing! You look like you're 23 NOW and 27 or maybe even in your 30s in the first pic! I'm an inch taller than you and have a very similar body shape, you've given me motivation to keep going and hopefully be where you are by the end of the summer! P.S. your eyes and hair are gorgeous!!
  • When I see overweight people run (or do any form of exercise) and yes I'm overweight and run occasionally, I smile and feel so proud of them for getting out there and doing what they can to get to a healthier place. Good for you and I hope you keep it going!! And congrats on your 61 lb loss already!!
  • I've heard they're caused by spasms in the diaphram caused by rapid breathing combined with the fast up and down motion of each leg. I found these tips to help alleviate them. When I get them I slow down and stop, bend forward, take a deep breath in then forcefully blow out several times, stand up, stretch on both sides…
  • I get on the scale every morning like you just to see that I'm on track. I log my weight every Friday. I didn't last Friday because I gained due to going to a Mexican restaurant the night before and over indulging, but I was back down 5 lbs 3 days later so I logged it.
  • Protien bar and a glass of milk. I hate wine *ducks*
  • Looking AWESOME!! I'm in week 7, haven't been sticking to the calendar completely but I only have 15 workouts left! You are correct Month 2 is NO JOKE, whole new level of Insanity. Can't wait to see the finished product, Month 2 definitely gives you more definition, but your midsection is showing crazy progress already!…
  • I would not be able to even guess at my calories burned since each DVD varies so much and really depends on how much I push myself so I use a HRM. I go under cardiovascular then my exercises then at the bottom go to create a new exercise, name it put in the minutes and calories burned. It then saves it under "my exercises"…
  • I don't follow it at all. I'm borrowing Insanity from a friend so I didn't get the meal plan, I'm in week 7 and have lost 15lbs so far. I do try to keep an eye on my protien and make sure I don't consume fewer than 1500cals a day and if I do I eat a bit more on the weekend to make up for it. If I eat less than 1500 my…
  • I had low sodium thin sliced Hillshire Farms turkey breast on a sandwich today, it's really good and it was on the cheaper end as compared to the other brands without getting the store generic brand. You could also get the small thin boneless skinless chicken breasts and cook them on the George Foreman for 6 minutes, shred…
  • I've never joined one of these but I would like to since I have a huge goal, 10 lbs in June so that I will be 185 by my birthday July 2. SW: 240 CW: 195 GW For the month of June: 185 UGW: 155 or less Weight on June 1st: 195 Check in dates (feel free to change dates to your specific weigh-in days if these don't work for…
