I know what you mean about proving to yourself!! I have done 30 DS before and didn't make it until the end :( let's do this together!
-
I am doing ripped in 30. I can't imagine doing 8 pound weights! I have moved to 2 kg weights which is about 4.5 lbs!! Keep up the great work!
-
I just finished day 6 and it was hard!! moving on to level 2 tomorrow, looking forward to a change. 30 days seems so far away!

I haven't been trying to pay much attention to the scale. I'm listening to my body and how it feels... I feels so much better than I did a two weeks ago, not tracking calories and not exercising. I am really trying to see this as a lifestyle and not worry about the weight so much. I know it will all work out in the end :)

I posted my pics on my blog :) http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/ladybb7

I'm using 2 Kg weights to start, will move to 4 kg after 5 days :)

I have done 30DS before but not consistently... I'm hoping to stick to it this time!

-
I'm in South Korea so we are in similar time zones... it's fun living in the future :)
-
I started ripped in 30 today :) add me if you want, we can keep each other motivated :)
-
I wish I could figure out how to gain in this area lol..

I make my own "tv dinners" that are a lot healthier. I buy a bunch of re-useable plastic containers and then i buy a big filet of salmon- I bake it in the oven with just a litte dijon and maple syrup then I portion it into the containers with rice and vegetable. I freeze them and heat them up in the microwave.

thanks for the replies, what about changing goal of 2 lbs/ week.. I was thinking about putting it to 1.5 to see if that changed anything thoughts?

I just finished day 2... Add me if u want :)

I just did the first workout today... Please add me as a friend if you want to help keep each other motivated... I have a couple weddings coming up in the next couple of months and I'm hoping this will help tone me up :) question- do you stay with the one level for the month? or do you increase when you feel like you can?
-
Thanks for the replies... I think I will star experimenting with this...
-
I'm working on lower carb and sugar... Just following the MFP goals- it doesn't feel restricting at all

Sw-184 Cw- 170.8 Gw-150

Definitely had one of those today... Just felt like taking a break but I know I will be back on track tomorrow :)
-
Going to keep sticking to MFP calorie, sugar, and carb goals! My starting weight Sunday April 17th =170.8 My weight on Saturday April 23rd = My total weight lost for this week =

Awesome! Will meet back here next Sunday :)

I definitely gave up some fruit... I was eating 3-4 pieces a day and last week cut back to one, I try to eat veggies instead... I know some people say not to worry about natural sugars but in some ways I think sugar is still sugar- I will keep this up next week and see if my loss is still substantial :)
-
I agree- too much fruit is a bad thing! I have been sticking to the MFP sugar goals and have been seeing good results.
-
This probably won't help the diet but you must try loukomades (little honey donuts).... Seriously your are on vacation and this may be the only chance u get to experience this authentic experience... Just don't overdo it like I did :) eat Greek salads and protein during the day and indulge a little at night... Have fun
-
I eat the carbs and sugar recommended by MFP- which are lower compared to what I used to eat... I have done south beach in the past with success, but gained weight back when I slacked on the program.... With MFP I don't feel deprived and am still seeing results... a bit slower, but at least I'm able to eat what I want :)
-
Omg! Who is crazy enough to take this?!
-
I am now trying to stick to MFP sugar and carb limits, it seems so easy to go overboard on sugar...

I suggest asian dishes for shirataki noodles. If you want a more traditional pasta alternative try pasta slim http://www.pulmuonewildwood.com/noodle.asp I found them at my local health food store. But like the shirataki suggestions, rinse well, pat them dry, and then heat them in a frying pan with alfredo sauce and…
