Hi there. My situation is a bit different as it wasn't unexpected. But I also have two kids who are 4 and 5. We have been divorced for about a year and a half now. I have the opinion that if it is going to happen, it is better for the kids that they are young. They aren't really old enough to develop the mindset that it is…

Sounds so good! I had my first smoothie made with PB2 last week and LOVED it! Thanks!

Create your own! Offer it to others! Make millions!

I must have a big butt! I weigh less than some of you but wear bigger pants...?! Currently about 120 pounds, size 6/8. Need to lose some fat, gain some muscle. Carry my fat in my butt, hips, upper thighs.

I'm not sure that's what they meant...

If you did make your own, you could freeze them so you don't eat them all at once. I made a batch of granola bars and froze them. Each night I'd get it out of the freezer to thaw and grab it to take to work with me the next day. Also, regarding this topic, I've read recommendations for Quest Bars. I've never had them, but…

Sounds like a delicious, filling, low-calorie meal. Though I tried a veggie burger once and it was yuck. Maybe I need to try another brand.

Hmm, the yummy things you can do with greek yogurt!

Some great ideas! bump

Dashing Dish and skinnytaste both have healthy ideas. You can always double up the amounts for larger batches. Crockingirls has lots of crockpot ideas, though they aren't necessarily low calorie/low fat.

I often have leftovers also. In fact I made a crockpot Saturday night and froze enough for two dinners and five lunches out of it! It was a whole wheat pasta, tomato sauce kind of deal. I have also done that with soup and chili.

Those sound pretty good, will have to keep an eye out. I've been having Life Choice protein bars. I don't know how they compare to others but they're 210 calories, 21 g protein, 14g carbs, and 7g sugars. But they were better than the others WalMart was selling!

I saw a chart somewhere that listed the metals in different protein powders. Most were quite low, though still had a little bit. There were several, all by Muscle Milk I think it was, that were very close to the federal limits, much higher than all the others. There's probably a way you could google that.

I take these too. I don't like swallowing pills. But I don't have problems with them making me feel bad, so I can't comment on that.

Ours does this. Takes up very little space when folded.

That's what I was thinking!

My trainer always has me do a few minutes of cardio before weights to warm up, then strength training. He also says if I can, to do cardio after; your body will burn more calories after the strength training. Though I never have time for it since I work out during my lunch break.

Give the new people a break! There would be hardly any discussions if people could only post something new!

Wow, so many options and so many opinions on what's best! Good luck, I'm trying to decide what kind to use also.

Will have to try that. I made some low-calorie muffins that I froze in individual baggies, so I grab one of those sometimes. Pretzel sticks can be satisfying and are low-calorie. And nuts are a great snack. I bought some pre-packaged nuts. Of course that costs more, but it's so convenient!

Mmmm...... Having leftover chicken taco chili for lunch. And a protein bar.

Thanks!

Love the way you phrase that, haha!

I'm dealing with the same thing. I lost a few pounds right off, but now it's been unchanged and even up slightly. From what I've read on here, I'm going with the theory that I haven't been eating enough and so my body is hanging onto what it's got--starvation mode, in other words. I'm going to try a calorie increase too,…

I've read good things about Designer Whey Protein. It has 100 calories per serving. Maybe look into that a bit. I actually ordered some from Amazon but have not received it yet.
