Now retired and age 72. I made a commitment to start again with a good diet, as a new way of life. Also, I am adding exercise--about 5 days a week. Happy today. I just started back on track after several months of neglecting my weight (and gaining). So yesterday was good. Stayed within my calorie goal. It is the euphoria of beginning anew. Soon the hard part will come.

What helped me the most was a night brace. It is awkward but it gave almost complete relief. This was after trying everything else a podiatrist could for years.
