Thanks for the insights. :) I'll have to do some research on bands vs. weights. I think I like weights better, but I don't have infinity dollars to spend.

I didn't lose much weight but definitely lost inches, a few in my waist in particular.

I have four more weeks of Beta left but I do plan on doing Gamma afterwards. I've already tried all of the workouts (except for Speed 3.0 because I'm scared of it!) and I really love them. I really enjoy strength training and using the dumbbells, it makes me feel stronger and I think the idea of Gamma is that you ideally…

Just finished the stretch video after some Jillian Michaels No More Trouble Zones and I feel awesome. Week one of Beta done! No weight loss in the first week, but some inches movement. I wasn't eating the greatest (thanks a lot, leftover Super Bowl party cheesecake!) so hopefully next time I weigh in I'll see some…

I use Ezekial 4:9 low sodium sprouted grain bread. I don't know if you would consider it low calorie as it's 80 per slice, but I really like it and it's full of healthy grains and fiber. I get it at Whole Foods, not sure if other places carry it, but probably!

Oh, and Beta Week 1 Day 2 complete: Speed 2.0. Damn that was intense. I loved it though. I burned more calories than I have with any of the workouts in a few weeks.

I'm not following the diet plan, no. I'm vegan, so it would really limit my options. For most of alpha I was eating 1650 calories plus some or most of my exercise cals back. I reduced that a few days ago to 1500 plus half of exercise cals, so we'll see if that changes anything when I weigh in on Saturday. Trial and error!

Thanks!

I only lost 6 pounds total for all of alpha round (finished it yesterday). Don't be discouraged, that's still a great loss! A pound or a little more per week is totally healthy and sustainable. I will admit that I had been thinking it would come off a bit faster as well since I also have a good bit to lose, but I think if…

Alpha round of T25 is complete and today is rest day! Yay! Here are my Alpha results: 180.5 lbs to 174.5 lbs Bust: 40" to 39.25" Waist: 33.75" to 32.75" Hips: 40" to 38.75" Arm: 13" to 12.5" Thigh: 24" to 23.25" Overall I'm pretty happy so far! I was hoping for a bit more weight loss, but a little over a pound a week is…

I did Total Body Circuit and then Rip't Up from Gamma today… it's my last week of alpha and I have to do TBC THREE times. UGH. I still hate it. Two down, though.
-
I would say to go for it, especially because of your time constraints. I wouldn't say you have to "concentrate heavily" on diet to get results, but I would suggest at least trying to make healthy choices: no need to deprive yourself, but just know that you won't see as significant results if you aren't eating right.

Awesome job all of you guys who started today! Today started my last week of alpha… I'm so ready for beta! Well, maybe not physically, we'll see. Haha.
-
I'll be finished with week 4 of alpha once I get my butt up and do the two workouts today. :) I've lost about five pounds and maybe two inches total over my whole body so far. But my strength and endurance have improved tremendously.

You could always alternate: C25K is meant to be only 3 days a week, so you could alternate that with the shred 3 days a week and then take one rest day.
-
I'll be there in one more week! Can't wait, I'm ready to move on.

I'm currently having the same problem. My goal is 1650, but I burn around 600 calories a day from exercise which puts me well over 2000 to eat, and I'm having a hard time eating that much! I also don't eat meat so I'm really trying to focus on hitting my protein goal. Going to really try to eat as close to my net goal as…

Thank you :)

Thanks! I'm going to try eating them back for a week or so and see how I feel. Honestly, I'm not even really intentionally NOT eating them back. I've just been satisfied on my 1650ish calories, I haven't felt deprived or hungry. That being said, I know I'm not usually hitting my protein macro so an extra few hundred…

Thanks. :) I do know these things but it helps to be reminded.

I agree! Maybe someone should create a group? I can later on today if no one beats me to it.

I don't think there is a certain order, and I'm certainly no expert but I have done quite a few of Jillian's workouts so please just take this as my personal opinion and I hope its somewhat helpful. I also like to have a plan to follow, so I totally get it. :) From what I understand, 30 Day Shred is a bit of an older…

I also have the Ft4, and paid about $60 for it on Amazon I believe. I love it.

You could try seitan if you're really set on avoiding soy. Is it the GMO issue, if you don't mind if I ask? Also, lots of leafy greens will help with the bathroom thing.
-
We were able to find it, thanks!

Monday will be the beginning of my 5th week, but please feel free to add me, I'm happy to have more T25 friends even if we're at different points in the program. :)
-
I don't think that Shakeology is necessarily "supposed" to go with it, I think they're just hawking it because it's a beachbody product. I'm in the 4th week of the program and have never bought, nor do I have any intention to buy, Shakeology. I do a protein shake because I'm a dietary vegan and find it hard sometimes to…

This is really interesting to me because I actually really disagree, which isn't to discredit your own reactions to the workout but simply to provide another perspective. I did Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred prior to starting this but other than that was a beginning, had never done a workout program of this intensity or…

Thanks :) yeah, I'm drinking a ton of water and sticking with my calorie goal. I'm usually under, because I haven't been eating back my exercise cals. So I know it isn't fat gain. Just hoping it comes back down soon. I know all the logical explanations, but there's something about that damn number on the scale that's just…

Thank you, that's encouraging :)
