I'm on week 4 of Alpha as well, still totally loving it although I did see the scale jump back up over the last few days. I think it may be because I added in some extra strength training work outs so my muscles are retaining, but we'll see.

I'm in my 4th week, but feel free to add me! Always good to have folks doing the same thing.

Thanks, yeah, I'm hoping that by Saturday when I "officially" weight and measure again it will start coming back off. I did not eat in any restaurants, no. I had some extra sodium last night because we used packaged gnocchi in a meal but other than that, I've been way under my sodium every day.

Thanks :) Yeah, I prepared myself for fluctuations and know that it will be a long process and I didn't put it on in three weeks so it won't come off in three weeks, etc. etc. I guess I was just prepared for fluctuations of two or three pounds, but not seven or eight.

I use a HRM and very rarely eat all of my workout calories back. I try to stick to 50% or less.

I didn't see much weight loss but I did lose inches and build lots of strength and endurance.

I use the my recipe tool to input the number of servings and all of the ingredients. Then I'll usually tare out a serving dish, weigh out the entire dish (like the entire pot of soup/chili/whatever) and then divide that by the number of servings it's supposed to make--that number is the weight of one serving. I feel like…

Today began Alpha week 4 for me. I'm still loving it, but I'm looking forward to moving on to Beta in a few weeks. I get bored easily, but at the same time I know I'm not ready to move on yet, I'm really going to follow this program to the letter. My boyfriend and I also downloaded Gamma recently, so we'll be doing that…

I have a Vitamix and I absolutely love it. I'm not sure what model it is, I can check if you like. The con is, obviously, the price. I was lucky enough that they're sold at Whole Foods where my boyfriend works, so he was able to catch it on a sale and use his discount on top of that, and it was still expensive. However, we…

I make a quick guacamole with a can of black beans stirred in, plop that on top of a half of roasted spaghetti squash and go to town.

I've started doing this recently and it's been working for me! Doesn't take a huge amount of extra effort and it takes the guesswork away.

I would suggest looking into Focus T25, or perhaps one of Jillian Michael's programs, either 30 Day Shred or Ripped in 30. T25 is only 25 minutes a day, and those two particular JM videos are roughly the same if not a little bit shorter, so totally doable when the baby is napping and all give you a great work out. :)

I've been vegan for about a year and agree with the vegan just a few posts above me: if you're eating balanced meals, you're probably getting enough protein. I have recently started supplementing with a protein shake for breakfast in the mornings, but that's mostly just because I'm working out a lot more intensely than I…

It's totally doable! I just finished my third week of alpha and I went into it having only done the 30 Day Shred and really nothing else. I can already feel my endurance and stamina getting better every time I do the work outs, and each time I modify fewer moves. But, that's what Tania (the modifier) is there for: and…

I'm almost done with my third week of T25 and I've lost about 7 pounds. I occasionally do another workout, usually something short like Jillian Michaels' Ripped in 30, but not every day. I've been always doing double days on Fridays and resting on Saturdays.

It does have a fair bit of jumping (at least in Alpha, I'm not up to Beta yet), but I don't think it would be too much of an issue on a second floor. It isn't like power jumping or anything where you're really slamming down, just kind of bouncing on the balls of your feet and doing jumping jacks and that sort of thing.

Today was week 3 day 3 for me… lower focus. I actually really like that workout, I found that I didn't need Tanya as much this time around (for things like the "crazy kangaroo bounce") so that felt great!

I don't mind Vega in smoothies, but I can't drink it just shaken up with liquid. Right now I'm using Garden of Life RAW protein powder in chocolate, and I blend that every morning with: a cup of almond milk, a banana, a handful of spinach, flax seed, ice, and a tablespoon of peanut butter. Works out to be around 30g of…

Awesome job and congrats on your upcoming wedding, from another Washingtonian :)

I think you have to use a heart rate monitor or choose something comparable.

Unsweetened almond for me, and sometimes coconut.

Awesome job everyone. :) Today was week 3 day 1 for me… Total Body Circuit, it SUCKS haha

I was the person posting, and I genuinely appreciate the support, however it's a real turn off to posting on these boards that I can't ask a question about a Beachbody program without my inbox being flooded with people begging me to join their Facebook challenge groups.

This is repetitive to what someone already said, but I would recommend smoothies over juicing. When you make smoothies with fruit and veggies, you're still getting all of the vitamins and nutrients, whereas with juicing you're stripping away a large portion of them. Plus, I find smoothies will keep you fuller for longer.

I started on 12/30, so tomorrow will be the start of my third week, but feel free to add me! I would love more T25 friends. :)

Grains and legumes are pretty much staples in my vegan diet, and are super healthy. Lentils, black beans, chickpeas, quinoa, brown rice… all in a steady rotation in my meal plan every week.
