1500-1700 seems reasonable to me for doing Insanity, but I don't know your stats so it's hard to say for sure. I would say to give it a try for a few days and see how you feel. If you're feeling like you have no energy or are hungry all the time, bump up to the next calorie bracket in the fix plan. You don't want to burn…

I haven't done the entire program yet but I did it for 7 days and lost 3.4 pounds--that was with one day where I pretty much totally blew off the nutrition as well. I was doing doubles with the workouts because I've been working out for awhile and felt like I could handle it… that might be something to try? I've also…

It's a bummer that so many of "us" are like that… it put me off too for a long time. I recently became a Beachbody coach and it's been really hard to convince people that I'm NOT just looking for their money. If people want to buy programs through me that's great, and I know a lot of people, on these boards especially,…

Calories burned is different for everyone depending on your gender, height, weight and intensity level, and also which T25 workout you're doing. When I did it, I was 180lbs (5'4" female) and burned anywhere from 250-360 calories per workout.

That sounds like it's in the right ballpark, which workout was it?

I use Garden of Life raw protein powder and like it a LOT more than Vega. I can't take the fake sweetener taste in Vega. I also use a generic Whole Foods brand soy protein powder and I LOVE it, and it's the cheapest option.

Of course! All programs totally welcome. I'll send you a message. :)

Messages sent. :)

Awesome!! I'll send all of you guys a message with more details!

Definitely take the day off if you feel like you need it, especially with Insanity. There's such a high risk of injury and you don't want to chance that!

I think it gets tricky for vegans because some of the foods that we get our protein from, like beans and quinoa, a lot of other people consider carbs. So I just try to eat a balanced clean diet to the best that I can, and just know that vegan diets are going to necessarily be a little bit more carb heavy as compared with…

Walnuts and flax are my favorite sources personally :)

I'm on the 7th day of the fix today! I'm actually only doing a week right now because I wanted to try it out and then I have family visiting next week so I knew I wouldn't be able to stick with it, and I'm too OCD, haha! But I'm loving it so far, although I had a pretty bad day yesterday--I couldn't stay out of the snacks…

Hey everyone, I'm starting a new challenge group for the 21 Day Fix on July 7th if any of you are interested in joining. :)

I've been doing ChaLean Extreme and Insanity for a few weeks, and have ended up with a sore knee (to the point where I had to take a week off from Insanity) and feeling totally burnt out. I would just choose one, or do a hybrid. That's my new plan.

How's it going for you all? I'm on my last week of Burn now, and I'm still really enjoying it although haven't been seeing the results I had hoped for yet. No weight loss. I haven't measured, so hopefully I'll see something there.

I believe this is true but you'll also hear quite a bit on the forums that MFP's database tends to greatly overestimate calorie burns as well. I would say to maybe start by eating back half of your workout cals, just so you know you aren't going over. :) Great job by the way!

I've been vegan for almost a year now and yes! Losing weight is not as easy as people tend to think for us. I did drop about 10 pounds quickly after I switched to a vegan diet, and I've dropped about 15 since November, so… some progress, but slow progress. Anyway, to answer your question: yes, more vegan friends are always…

Thank you for taking the time to look. Yeah, I've been working on the protein thing. I am vegan, so it can sometimes be difficult, but I've been trying to hit 70-80grams minimum and then I'll work up from there. As for the cheat meal thing--I know that I will be having a few next week as I'm going on a mini-two day…

I measure as well, but all of my measurements today were the same this week as they were last. So that was a bit discouraging, but oh well. I'm going to try not to weigh again until I finish with Gamma, so about two weeks.

Thank you. Yeah, I actually was noticing just last night that I've been over on sodium more often than I thought. I've started aiming to drink about a gallon of water a day so hopefully it will balance out and I'll start working on getting that sodium level down.
-
It was my TOM the first week I started Gamma/ChaLean, I forgot to include that, so yeah, I chalked some of that gain up to that as well. Thanks for your encouragement. :) I've been trying to put the scale away.

Just FYI, you should check out craigslist or torrenting websites if you're interested in T25 for less. I was able to get it for $50 on craigslist and then we downloaded the Gamma workouts when it came time for them. :)

I think that's generally accurate since Gamma isn't as cardio-heavy. I think the only Gamma workout that I'm breaking 300 calories is Speed 3.0, the others I'm generally between 240-280.
