I ultimately did it three times a week. But it took me a few weeks to get there :). The first week I only did it once because I couldn't walk well for a few days. I was never able to do it two days in a row, but I actually don't think they recommend it anyway.

That's perfectly fine. But in both my earlier posts, I did tell you what I was learning. It is apparent what I am learning would not be useful to you because it was something you picked up early on on your own. But I am finding the habits part useful. Look in all the forums right now and you will see so many people…

I hesitated to come back in here because I certainly don't want anyone to think I am an active supporter of PN :). I am enjoying it, so I thought I would address some things. The coaches are certified through PN. I don't know what that entails, and I know there are levels of certification. I like my coach, but in all…

Actually, this is a very fair criticism. And it is one of the reasons I mentioned both times that I do calorie count with MFP. I am working on habits and eventually I do want to learn how to eat without logging every day. But I personally think calorie counting helps me a lot, so I continue to do it.
-
You are making this SO much harder than it needs to be. If you had issues with stress last year, you definitely do not need this level of stress over weight loss. Use MFP to set a reasonable goal (losing no more than 1 pound a week; 0.5 might be better). Eat a varied diet you enjoy. Eat back a proportion of your exercise…

I feel like you're saying that the fact that this program is helping me means I am a sheep and I don't feel like figuring out myself. Nothing could be further from the truth. I learned a lot in 2012/2013 when I used mfp to lose weight. But I still ended up failing. So I'm trying this program with mfp to help solidify…

But you actually do it yourself in PN. The thing I have found most useful are the daily lessons (every day but Saturday). In the beginning the lessons centered around determining why and when you overeat. We didn't even get to nutrition until several weeks later. There is a worksheet you can use after a really bad eating…

I am not a PN coach. They do not tell you what to eat. Their lessons are built around building sustainable habits. I've been doing it since September, and not once have they provided a meal plan. There are lessons centered around protein sources, carb sources, fat sources, etc, and there are habits encouraging adding these…

What do you mean by "most of the time". Are you logging consistently? Do you have cheat days, or days that aren't logged?
-
From other replies I see I left out the most important thing....there will be wine and Prosecco!

We generally do Chinese, and then little snacks while we play games. I'm assuming we will do the same. It's only 3:21pm here.
-
Never thought of that :).

My Fitbit one would not give me steps for cycling. I also drive my family crazy doing laps around the house :).
-
I think at this point you should focus on eating less. Have you plugged all your info into MyFitnessPal to get a calorie goal? Start off by reading the stickies and learning how to log your food.

This is exactly what I was wondering, but I haven't seen the program. There must be guidelines? Can any current members who have seen the program address this? I still found the ad misleading.
-
I'm well aware of this. I've been in these forums since 2012 :). I agreed above that WW should provide guidelines. I mentioned that I did not like their commercial at all and found it misleading. But there has to be a level of common sense to it as well. And this isn't just for WW.
-
I don't disagree with this at all. That is why I would like to see the actual program. When I was on WW, I had pretty good leaders who set limits on our zero point foods. Apparently not all leaders did this. But my main point is for those eating very large amounts of zero point foods. There has to be common sense. The same…

I saw a weight watchers commercial today for this program, and I will admit it was very misleading. They actually even said there were 200 zero point foods, and you don't have to track. I really would love to see the actual program to see if there are any guidelines at all. However, many of the examples in this thread are…

What did you end up making @Franci27 ?

Merry Christmas from NC.

Yeah. If I get annoyed, it's at the number of people in the gym, which makes it hard to get things done. I don't judge on whether people are serious or not...how would I know that? I went to the gym for more than a year, and then just stopped for over two years. It can happen to anyone.
-
Probably going with A.

Ugh! Sucked into a zombie thread again?

Could you tell us more about yourself (height, weight, age)?
-
Did you add in some of those exercise calories.

I'm on an Android and I see "all notifications".

It is a vaccine that can protect against cancer. Who cares how it is transmitted? The MMR vaccine protects against measles (as well as other diseases). Should we be concerned that they should not be exposed to air that may contain this virus? Why be concerned that our children be exposed to tetanus? How dare we let them be…

I've never had acorn squash, but I find butternut squash more sweet than savory. Could be the way I cook it. I love to mix it with more savory vegetables. Delicata squash is also awesome, and I find it easier to cut.

I've been wondering if roasted veggies taste good after warming up the next day.
