I often join competitions (not bikini fitness competitions) but other ones just for the fun of participating. I won once, and that was awesome. But also fun just to participate. Would it be fun for you to participate? Would you feel like you didn't do well unless you won? Would it be mostly stressful?

Good luck!! I've hiked pieces of the trail, but never in my wildest imagination the whole thing. You go!

An exboyfriend once changed his profile picture to him with a massive head wound. No update tho. Still don't know what happened.

If you want to see a calorie burn, you can add it as a cardio exercise. General "strength training" is one of the options. But then you wouldn't log how many of what exercise you were doing.

I used to have some fab workout partners at my old job. I tried yoga with one woman in my new office, and that was fine, but awkward because she was a noobie and we've never done it again. I found some people who like to walk for about a mile and a half at lunch. That's the best I've got at the moment. I agree, I like…

Congratulations! You look great!

I like working out. I do it when I can. I try not to stress about it. Sometimes up early, sometimes can't get out of bed. Sometimes workout after dinner, sometimes crash.

I want in! Here's my before & during...

I work out around my family all the time, and I get that too. Especially from my kids. "Mom, you're not doing it right." I laugh it off. They don't know how hard it is, none of them are actually doing the workout. I agree with the poster who says she invites her husband to join. That will vacate the room quick!

Good luck everyone starting in April! I just don't have the attention span to complete a 30 day program, but I did level 2 today, and it was fun. Like to do level 3 some time, and maybe level 2 again. Look forward to seeing your transformations!

I'm NO GOOD at sticking to plans, but I did level 2 today for the first time. It was good. Maybe I should try it again sometime ;)

That's such a good idea. There were fudge dipped chocolate chip cookies with sprinkles in the break room for two weeks. No one was eating them! Aargh. And I had such a hard time passing them up every day. I even blogged about them. But I didn't want to be the one to toss them. Finally I guess someone else decided to throw…

Minimum of 30 minutes, but more whenever I can. Every day. If you left me on my own without any responsibilities (which almost *never* happens) I would workout for like 2-3 hours.

Awesome job!

Way to rock that bikini!

I downloaded the app, and I'm planning to start either today or tomorrow, late case Sunday. I've never been able to stick to a program before, because I have the attention span of a gnat when it comes to workouts. I love working out, but I can't do the same workout for more than 2 days at a time, which means I can't do…

I just did Jillian Michaels Extreme Shed & Shred. That comes with 2 workouts, Level 1 & Level 2. I don't think it would keep you for a whole month tho.

I have 3 Richard Simmons workouts, he's funny! I also follow him on facebook. He posts lots of pictures in costume.

I always wondered why I felt like the treadmill required so much more effort for the same speed. I thought it was just me.

Exercise with kids can be tough. Can you take them to the park when the weather improves? I used to put on head phones and chase my toddlers around the park for 30 minutes. You'd be surprised how long toddlers can last! Lol. Other than that, I found some workout DVDs online that feature kids, or kids and moms, or infants…

This for me. When I start procrastinating, I know I've got to change up my workout. If I was planning to walk, but I'm procrastinating, I find a DVD instead.

I just started. Day 2 for me. So far so good.

I just started...day 2 for me :) Not doing the nutrition plan. Just logging my calories like normal. So far I like it :)

I don't log coffee (drink it black). And I only sometimes log raw or boiled veggies. If it has sauce, I log that. My understanding of a "free" food, is not that it doesn't have *any* calories, but that the amount of calories it has does not compensate for the amount of calories it takes your body to digest it.

I also didn't start out to lose weight. I wanted to quit smoking because I didn't want to die. And yes, I know I'm going to die, but I thought I could maybe put it off a little. So I started going to the gym instead of having my morning smoke. Eventually, I started looking at what I was eating. I would say, without too…

Congratulations! I have the same issue. I decided I was going to spend $20 for an inbetween pair of jeans. And I found a good deal at Sears, of all places.

I don't always have a lot of time to work out, so I often break it up into 30 minute chunks. On a good day, I can get in 3 30 minute workouts. But they're not P90X workouts. They're more like walking workouts, or strength training with 5lb weight workouts. On weekends when I can, I try to take it up a notch.

I hate cleaning, but it has to be done. It helps motivate me if I can count it as a workout. But I also do a regular workout, so its like a bonus workout, and maybe an extra cookie or something when I'm done.

Amazing loss!
