Who has sex for 45 minutes? After 10, I've got mine - if you didn't get yours, grab a sock and some lotion. This isn't something I'd log. And IMO the link above has a grossly overrated burn.

Oh I don't think advice is only valid from people with those things :)
-
Yes on the food scale. We post lots of .gifs around here. You should, too because they're funny. Don't take yourself or this forum too seriously. Pay attention to the people that give you advice - how much have they lost? How long have they been around? Can you see their diaries? Do they have real pics of themselves up?…

When I was new here, I'd argue EVERYTHING I was told. I figured no one was really listening to me - no one took the time to understand what I was trying to say. I was wrong. I gave you the answer in the second reply to your post. You chose to focus on the other stuff, and defend yourself unnecessarily. You are, of course,…

I probably wouldn't log any exercise, outside of walking. Maybe just eat at maintenance that day and call it even.

Co-signed. Not a fan. My stats (all are for 5 reps) 5'5", 149lbs OHP: 75lbs Bench: 75lbs Squat: 110lbs Deadlift: 160lbs I took a few weeks off for health issues, so I'm probably less now. Back to it next week.

Let me let you in on a secret that saved me tears, frustration and possibly failure. You don't have to eat only whole grain bread and veggies to lose weight. You do have to eat less than you burn. What those calories consist of is up to you. It is, of course, a great idea to include whole grains, lean protein, fruit and…

I'm confused. Are people actually criticizing your body or are they just not calling you a skeleton, too? I have big boobs (34DDD). They don't make me look fatter - if anything, they accentuate my waist and make it look smaller. At least in my opinion and really that's the only one that matters.
-
OP, most of my meals are home cooked. I'm not sure if they fit your definition of "clean" though. I would suggest just taking recipes of foods you already eat and tweak them to meet your needs. Good luck.

1200 is minimum for females. 1500 is minimum for males. You might consider upping your intake.
-
You surely mean calories a day. A 1200 calorie deficit for a 5'2" women would be nearly impossible.
-
People don't say 1200 is bad - it's that 1200, in many cases, is unnecessary. Most people sign up here, and when they input their goals see an option to lose 2 pounds a week. And they think YES!!!!!!!! I want to lose 2 pounds a week!! What they don't know is that if you don't have much to lose, it's an unrealistic, and…

Yeah this. Also, there are dumbbell modifications listed in the Eat, Train, Progress group - it's a handy list to have. Link: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/902569/barbell-routines-when-you-only-have-dumbbells

This is why we're friends.

So, what do you bake then? How's business?
-
I don't track sugar, either. I have a good amount of fiber in my diet, and stick to a moderate carb intake. I'm good.
-
It should make dieting easier. If you don't like the way you look, it's totally in your power to change that. That's good news.

5'5", 149, size 8/M

If your TDEE is 1750, why are you eating 1700? That's a 50 calorie deficit a day - so it would take you almost a month lose a pound. When you figure your TDEE, the goal is to then figure your deficit, and subtract that from your TDEE and eat that - so you lose weight. I used this site: http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ and…

You look fantastic! Great job!
-
Don't wait, start now. Eat just under maintenence and lift heavy things. And read this: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10177803/recomposition-maintaining-weight-while-losing-fat/p1

Oh and weight lifting/strength training is in the cardio database here on MFP.
-
Heart rate monitors are good for steady state cardio, only. Calorie burns vary so much for lifting because of rests between sets/reps and the amount of weight lifted - stuff like that. When I was logging my exercise, I gave myself about 200 calories per hour at the gym (which had a bit of cardio before/after my lifting…

Reading more about your back problems, I'm on this train. Be careful with you!
-
You'll get there, though. I started barely being able to touch my toes. A few months later, I was doing this: A year later, I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to post photos of what I can do now ;)

Maybe try this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeXz8fIZDCE I love her.

When I see the word Kegels, I always do one or two. Just in case.

Must. Resist.

Tone generally does mean burn fat, though. It's often used with trim as in trim fat. So I was confused, too - even with your further explanations. You got pretty defensive, pretty fast and then yes, people saw that and commented showing their amusement. It's the internet :) Try to realize that a lot of us are on here…

Honey, everyone on this thread was really confused about what you were looking for - mostly likely because of your thread title. That's okay though. You got lots of good recommendations. I'll reiterate mine: yoga - it's great for core strength and I have excellent posture :) Strength training is good, too.
