  • Thank you for that link to the Spoon Theory. That whole web site is great. I like that theory better than the bank account analogy as a bank account cannot be seen either. Now....if only we could reach over to another table and get more spoons.....
  • Thank you for such a positive post and a great reminder for living with chronic pain. I read this on a day that I needed reminding about what I have been able to do vs. what I have been unable to do (that was where my mind was at before I read your post.)

  • I wish I had an answer for you. But I must say, after 26 years, I still have not figured this out. I am really impressed that you are managing to do yoga every day. Four years ago I was able to do regular yoga but today all I can do is restorative yoga once or twice a week. One doctor described living with pain and fatigue…
  • Hi. I live on Tortola. I have asked MFP to add BVI as a country but it hasn't happened yet. I have been on MFP for 3 months and have lost 14 pounds. I am an "older" (you would just say OLD  ) woman with health issues so I need to control what I eat in order to lose weight. Would love to have some "pals" from this…
  • Remember that those 1400 cal would just maintain your weight so if you wanted to lose weight while in that coma you would need to have less than 1400 cal. I agree going lower than 1200 or not including exercise in your calculations can cause problems and one should only do that under the care of a doctor. I am at the…
