That's a two piece suit. but yeah. Suits are awesome. I feel on top of the world in a tailored suit. It's hard for a guy to look better than in a nice suit.

Oh, you'll know

basically this. Something has to increase over time. It doesn't have to be weight. But workload or intensity must increase. that means either more volume, more intensity, shorter rest and same workload, more weight.

my new baby. just in time for ski season

this cannot feel good....

why cant they just use vbulletin or some decent looking forum layout? This is convoluted, tacky, and awful. At least we can quote properly now... a wonderful invention from 1997.... I have great vision, but this layout and avatar size is giving me a migraine

Good stuff. Also helps to take a step back and pretend you are in physics class. What does each joint do specifically? What is it's function? Where is the force being applied? Put the tension on the target muscle and focus on only moving that joint in exactly the manner it was designed to move.

that's because most 6'1" 190 lb guys eat 3000 Calories to LOSE weight. increase that by 750 calories and then re-evaluate.

your doctor/nutritionist is a moron. Getting through med school does not make one an expert in weight loss or fitness. The best way to move the scale has always been through diet and weightlifting. Initially, you will get some water retention in the muscles. this is GOOD. it means increased strength and muscle definition.…

depends what you mean by flat. zero wrinkles sitting straight up? Not gonna happen unless you are in male bodybuilder stage ready shape. or just no outward stomach bulge when sitting straight up? definitely a healthy goal.

In high school. Mom wanted me to go to some church group sunday class thing. I said no. She insisted. I punched a couch as hard as i could. shattered my hand. turns out the soft upholstery was hiding a hardened tree trunk. Goodbye wrestling season. still missing a knuckle. wish I could take that back.

Have him listen to vets on some steroid message boards and get valid side effects As soon as you mention the things mentioned in the post you quoted, you'll lose all credibility with your son. A few minutes of googling and he'll have enough info to combat those claims. What do you think a boy cares more about? Balls…

No one on here is recommending AAS to a teen. Illogical legislation is irrelevant. Not all steroids are illegal and a many of the steroids used by teens are legal in the US. GNC used to even sell them. I can find two dozen brands on Amazon.com right now. No one said a doc would prescribe them for this case. livery injury…

I think really the only way to dissuade a teen is to convince him how annoying taking steroids for a long time can be. Once he realizes that most of his progress will be lost between steroid "cycles", the appeal goes down fast. Ask him if he wants to risk losing natural testosterone production? Young guys get this idea,…

twice is the low end, like using Test E for horomone replacement therapy from a Doc. docs don't prescribe GH unless you are one lucky SOB or have aids lol

There are no short term methods that give good results nor provide safe results for a teen. Tell him to make a post on a steroid message board (professionalmuscle, muscular development, etc). I'm serious. Ask for advice there. A hundred vets will tell him why it's a terrible idea under 20, what the LONG TERM impact is, how…

water weight will do the trick. Eat moderate to high carbs and over maintenance daily. Get some more LBM. Your face will retain water. My face is much fatter looking now than 5 years ago, despite being 6%-8% bodyfat compared to 12% then. I HATE it though. Weight gain in general will change the look of your face, even if…

Yes. Thank you sociology majors for bastardizing a concept and spreading it all over the internet. Every organism on this planet begins life with genetic and environmental differences leading to an infinite number of outcomes at every decision branch. Reducing this to "privilege" is pseudo-intellectualism.

yes. I lift 7 days on, 1 off. And this is on the recommendation of a well known top bodybuilding coach. it works for both of us. Just intelligently design a program that allows muscles to recover. Optimize nutrition around your workouts. Don't do it under a severe caloric deficit.

No, this belongs in public. or this. It's beautiful scenery.

this thread is dumb but good lawd that's a great pic. :noway: :noway:

sodium increases water retention ->water retention increases muscle pump -> muscle pump leads to gains -> sodium is good

lots of guys have insecurity issues about muscle size and tank tops. For the first 2 years I worked out, I would never dream of wearing a tank. I had 14 inch arms, I thought I'd look like a skinny try-hard in a sleeveless shirt. Then again, you also have first year lifters wearing shirts cut down to the waist. Never a good…

"hmmm" because you implied a question but it went unasked (is it pseudo intellectualism or not). The potential application is more for economic theory. Like you said, it's rather obvious for everything else. It brings out a number of concepts in economics, yes. More importantly, if you accept it as truth, then it…

hmm? It's an idea spread by classical economists followed by Austrian economists, rejecting labor theory of value (Marx and others who believe value is proportional to the societal labor put in). Not pseudo-intellectualism. Not scientific fact either. it forms the basis of modern free market philosophy

It's a comfortable belief much like belief in an afterlife is comforting. If you read solarpower's answer and my response, you'd know that I don't believe humans have intrinsic self worth. Subjective theory of value. Or the media reflects an existing obsession.

Prefer 30's to my age or 20's. I like being impressed and slightly intimidated by a woman and her achievements. That doesn't happen often if she's my age.
