Just got back onto MFP. used to be active here for a couple years. Mostly logging to get extra lean, not going for the massed up look as much these days. Possibly entering a classic bodybuilding competition in spring '16. most of my old friends seem to be inactive. add me, I'm supportive. and I know a little bit about diet…

you look skinnier.

like others said, it's more of an advanced technique that helps optimize insulin sensitivity while keeping strength, muscle fullness, and motivation high. helpful for people that are already lean and have everything else in check.

IF helps curb appetite and is a convenient lifestyle choice. You have an extremely hard time eating enough food so IF is probably not the route you should take. Also, you may (actually, definitely should) try increasing your appetite through stimulation. Make those 2 workouts MUCH more intense, more weightlifting, and bump…

Eventually you can use it as a tool to get back on track, or experiment with a new approach, or just increase results from time to time. Been "logging" for 7 years, but usually 2-4 months a year in total. After a month of logging I can generally keep the same routine for another month without logging before I stray off…

Sure. I eat on average below maintenance but my leg day is around 4000 Calories, or more which is a small surplus. and a bit above maintenance on back day. Trying to keep my legs growing while I lose fat. I do put most of that food around the leg workout though. Low fat, high carb before, during, and after the workout. I…

Food. Sushi. Food. The protein pancake with my name on it in 12 more hours. The only things on my mind at night.

HIIT 3-4x a week. Even 10 minutes. If you can get a few intervals at a HIGH heart rate (for me, like 160+) you can trigger significant fat loss. I do this fasted first thing in the morning combined with IF where I don't eat till around 12-1 PM. Doesn't burn a ton of calories but triggers some fat loss and it's healthy.

First post in like a year. Might as well be a headless selfie.

renewable energy. solar, wind, etc. a better research topic would be to provide industries which are not protected by the federal gov

you'd have better results just doing a few sets of arm curls and a tricep exercise before the treadmill. 3-4 sets, 6-12 reps. done. and with more than 1 lb weight.

few months back. I'm just a little paler now

good thing the costs of daily life are the sole factors in determining the poverty level. because they *can* afford those things. can you please just look up what poverty thresholds mean? They mean YOU CAN afford healthy food. By definition. By the very definition of the word. The employees make 3x to 5x the required…
-
so, by definition of being paid 3x to 5x the poverty threshold, the employees can afford healthy food, decent housing, education, and medicine. glad we got that cleared up. anyways, back to under armour
-
you absolutely do not understand how poverty levels are measured. It is NOT an average against the average of everyone else. It DIRECTLY accounts for the affordability of housing, health, food, and education. The World Bank, among others, employs a number of people that measure and update the poverty level each year. It…

It is? the average worker in indonesian nike factories makes 3x to 5x the threshold for poverty in that country (poverty level is 200,000 rupiahs per month) Is a US worker making $70K living in poverty?
-
Because it is not poverty. It makes all the difference in the world.
-
What is straw man about my argument? The average nike worker in 3rd world countries makes between 100% and 400% of the average national income. Hardly a sweatshop.
-
the average worker in some Nike factories makes double the median wage of workers in that country. That's like an assembly line worker in the US making almost $100,000 annually. There is a long line of applicants waiting to work there because the conditions and pay is so favorable. But I guess they should be paid the…

Her body is far less realistic than the size 2 swimsuit models. Her "curves" (come on, that's ridiculous, they're fat deposits and nothing else) are airbrushed to hell, like most models. Editors have given her the skin of an 18 year old girl, her cellulite and dimples are gone. Realistic and a good role model? Hardly. A…

at least they'll have access to competent developers now. lol, yep exactly.

The Dao of Capital is a refreshing read on investing. Mark Spitznagel is the author and a well known hedge fund manager. More of a philosophy book than anything else. Finished up The Providence of Fire on a flight a couple days ago. Best fantasy book I've read in several years. Always looking for book ideas; I go through A…

5'11". It sucks. 1" shy of being a full grown male adult. But, I was the shortest guy growing up until I was nearly 18...so really, I'm perfectly fine with it.

Does it really matter where these pressures originate? Work out or don't. Plenty of fat acceptance communities for those who want to reject the social "pressure"

maybe 10%. it's hard to tell on very skinny guys. I would add a bit more protein and try to be on the high end of that goal calorie range. You won't need to worry about fat gain for a while. I was in a similar starting position once. basically, anything you do will work.

Been a couple times. Going to Istanbul again this spring as well as the southern coast. Ankara is very cool too, but a bit far for a day trip You can't go wrong in Istanbul. Obviously go see the Hagia Sophia. I like staying away from the extremely popular restaurants and asking locals where they like to dine. Turkish food…

She looks good. She lost the quirky look, which is what made her famous, but times and people change. She doesn't act these days, at least not in any major pictures, so whatever makes her happy. It certainly isn't a botched job; she really does look great now.

Yes. Sorry buddy. Oh wait, I don't have a pet. But if I did, he'd be outta luck.
