uh, yes.0

If I have a 2mil dollar house? Fu-ck you and your money, I'm keeping my dog. he's family.0
-
I wouldn't. My kids would be too hurt. My husband on the other hand would and just buy the kids another one.0

Goodbye Sundae and Marshmellow (cats), hell... I'll even throw in the dogs and parrot for free!0
-
I would, if I knew the cat would be happy and well-cared for. It's just a cat, after all. (I am a cat person, and have 2, in the interest of full disclosure)0
-
I would rather sell an organ or appendage than my pet0

Look at that face!!! Pretty baby!0 -
My honour is worth more than any amount of money. I would never betray the trust of any creature that relied on me.
I highly doubt the cat in question gives a crap. People have awfully high opinions of their pets' feelings toward their owners. They're animals, not people. Most of them do not have the same depth of emotions we do as humans. You may now proceed with the rage-spluttering indignance, and claims about how your pet is different and special, if you wish.

If I had a $2M dollar house, it's likely that $140K would be a drop in the bucket...like offering me $100 for my pet or something...so in that scenario, probably not.
Being that I could probably sell my house for about $230K...hell yeah, I'd take an extra $140K on top of that...$140K is a good chunk of change for me and pets are just pets...they're not my kids or anything. Besides, my dog probably only has another year or two in her anyway and the cat has never liked me.0 -
his name is tommy, lovely little dog. He understands so its all ok0

If for no other reason than just on principle, I'd say no.0
-
If I've had it for under 2 weeks then yes. anymore and I've already bonded.0
-
Yes. Sorry buddy. Oh wait, I don't have a pet. But if I did, he'd be outta luck.0

Nope.0

They could keep him as long as we get visiting rights!!0
-
no way.0

It would come down to whether I *needed* or *wanted* the money. As it stands, I don't *need* any more money than I earn. Sure it'd be nice to have more, but I'm happy as I am. Therefore, no I wouldn't sell my pets.
But if I lived in absolute poverty and that money would mean I could eat/have shelter/etc for the unforeseeable future then I would have to consider it.0 -

No but you can have my husband0
-
Can I just sell 50% of him for $70,000? You can have the half that gets up at 3am to *kitten*.0
-
no..just no.0

Never probably going to own a house so it's a moot point, but no way could I give up my two dogs! We need each other too much.0
-
<--- Absolutely NO!!! I love my babies!!!0
-
Yes, without even a second thought.
My cats just see me as a machine that pops out food. They would kill me in my sleep if they could just work out how to open the cans of food without opposable thumbs.

If the $140,000 was right in front of y'all and 100% honesty was enforced there would be a lot of pets on the move0
-
Yes! I'll buy a better pet and a new house with that money! Plus pay of bills!0
