Yeah, I second that. I'd not even do half that the next day. You're setting yourself up for an easily avoided injury!
-
I would expect major chaf-age if I were running for 6 hours with a pad but I don't bike (like, at all) so I don't know how that would be different from running... Also hate tampons but thats the route I'd go.. Sorry yo. OR if there are porta johns you can always start out with a pad and switch if it gets uncomfortable.

Ok, Wacoal size 38DDD black lace underwire bra. Wore it like a half dozen times before I realized it was already too big. PM me if you want it! I'll see what else I got later, its too nice outside...

bump, I'm curious too!

7/16: 1588 X 3 = 4764 (3 hour hike) 7/17: 2768 (6.5 hr white water rafting/kayaking) 7/18: 1022 (3-4 mile hill/trail run, mowed the lawn)
-
BACK! 7/16: 1588 X 3 = 4764 (3 hour hike up and down a canyon) 7/17: 2768 (6.5 hr white water rafting/kayaking) Holy crap I love white water kayaking... My new favorite thing ever. Cal burn for it is MFP estimate though, didn't want to bring the HRM in case I broke it.
-
WE PASSED THE YELLOW SUBMARINE!!!! sweeeeeeeeeeet.... I'm all geared up for a good triple day burn but I won't be able to post it til sunday. Hope you all have a great weekend!
-
7/14: totally blew off my run, 0 7/15: 856 (7 mile run)
-
Other boats seem to have moved but we have not... unless I'm imagining it.
-
Woo! Looks like we had a great double day! Great job everybody! 7/13: 205 cals
-
ha! We're twinsys with the cals today!
-
7/12: 1857 X 2 = 3714 cals for double burnage. Consisted of a 14.5 mile run to This American Life and the Mountain Goats. Twas lovely!
-
^yes
-
I LOVE this!!!
-
awww feel better soon!! buuuummer about the Sunday challenge! Oh well, it got me moving anyway, can't really complain. Today is going to be a long run but I'll log it late after its actually completed cuz I'm taking a new route, not sure what the burnage will be.
-
If you weren't in the challenge would you log it? I'd go with whatever you would have logged, full or partial or whatevs. That does seem to be a crazy number of cals though...
-
ah, bummer! Ice helps. Running on a surface other than pavement might help. Take it easy going down hills. Shin splints are tough though, you may just have to rest and wait them out. Those muscles will get stronger as you go. Good luck!
-
You look AMAAAAAAAAZING!!!!! Congrats!!
-
I'm quite sure there are some people not participating but I don't know how many since they may be opting to PM the capitan (giving them the benefit of the doubt), what say ye capitan?
-
we are iiiiin... last. yeah. definitely last. boo! Looks like long run is tomorrow, my running schedule is all messed up.
-
bump!
-
Seriously! I was going to do a long run on wed... I guess I can see how I feel tomorrow though.
-
What happened with the Sunday challenge? Did that go down?
-
7/11: 902 cals (polar FT7, 94 min, 7 mile run)
